Our projects are on-time, on-budget, and are all handled by a seasoned “Working Principal” of the firm.

Lou Switzer Founder / Chairman / CEO

Mr. Switzer founded The Switzer Group in 1975. His contribution to our project team is grounded in his innate ability to understand and identify client needs and concerns. As a member of the prestigious Interior Design Hall of Fame with 50 million square feet of completed projects and 40+ years of professional experience, he has led The Switzer Group to its position as a preeminent Space Plannning and Design Organization.

Beth HolecheckExecutive Vice President

Ms. Holecheck has been with The Switzer Group since 1981. For seven years she acted as Chief Administrator of Switzer’s branch office in Baltimore, Marylan. With tt30+ years of experience, Ms, Holechek has developed expertise in all aspects of project management and oversees major corporate on-call client accounts, some accounts for 20+ years. As a principal, she directs program development, oversees project management and ensures communication of project goals and objectives between the client and The Switzer Group team.

Stewart Fishbein, RAPrincipal

A member of The Switzer Group since 1983, Mr. Fishbein is responsible for project management, client communications, in-house and field activities. His management skills are exceptional, having specific experience with complex, fast- tracked large projects as well as smaller boutique facilities. He is a master project facilitator with experience in all phases of management including proposals, contract, schedules, budgets and programming. With 30 years of experiecne, Mr. Fishbein has directed numerous relocation and renovation projects and is an excellent addition to any project.

Gregory G Gresham, AIA, NCARBDesign Principal

Since 1994, Mr Gresham has been with the firm and has 25+ years of experience. As a design principal he is responsible for many corporate accounts. His design talents are matched with excellent management skills that largely contribute to the well organized and productive deisgn team.Mr. Gresham received a Bachelors of Science in Interior Design from the University of Cincinnati and a master of Architecture from Columbia University. He has been the recipient of the William Kinney Fellowship and an IBD Design Award.

Max Kawer, AIA, NCARBPrincipal

Mr. Kawer is a Registered Architect and an executive- level leader with knowledge to manage and motivate staff, while communicating effectively with clients, consultants and vendors. For +35 years he has practiced corporate design and architecture, and has been the Principal in Charge of design projects for various industries including corporate, entertainment, law and financial service sectors. He has experience managing complex technology- intensive projects, involving the design and construction of trading floors and data centers, with mission- critical infrastructure, redundant system and security control and audio-visual system.

Wayne Marcus, ASID, LCSWPrincipal

Mr. Marcus joined The Switzer Group as a principal in 2008. He brings 25+ years of experience as an Interior Designer with a diversified portfolio of clients and projects ranging from corporate and finance to non profit organizations, retail and residential. Mr. Marcus holds a BFA degree in Interior Design, an MSW degree with Honors from Yeshiva University and a LCSW license from New York State.
