We live in Tauranga where I am the Deputy Principal at Bellevue School. At Bellevue School I have several layers of leadership. A few of my key responsibilities include leading: - future focussed learning - assessment practices, and - curriculum development and review. Leadership is an innate quality I have always had and I have a passion for growing myself and others as leaders. ASPIRING PRINCIPAL MARSHALL DIGGS 4. Introduction I wish to be part of NAPP 2014 because: i. As an educational leader I am committed to making a difference in education for future generations and I have a passion to be involved in the shaping and leading of best practice schools. ii. Mentors have advised me, after completing NAPP themselves, that the relationships, knowledge, and skills that I will gain by being part of NAPP will be most beneficial in equipping me for principalship. iii. As a life long learner I believe that the NAPP is a privileged opportunity I wish to take full advantage of it. I believe NAPP is the next step in my pathway and development as an educational leader. ASPIRING PRINCIPAL MARSHALL DIGGS 5.
