This conference is designed to provide participants with a practical update on a variety of key topics for the primary care practitioner.
ObjectivesAt the conclusion of this activity, participants should be better able to:• recognize the early signs of Type 2 diabetes in children• describe the appropriate initial investigations for hematuria
in childhood• list the common problems encountered by breast-feeding
mothers and the interventions that have been shown to help• recognize the early signs of the autism spectrum in childhood• discuss the approach to a child with eating difficulties• recall the presenting clinical greatures of Lyme disease
and its diagnostic evaluation
