• AmongthefirstbusinessschooltoofferMS-BusinessAnalyticsinthenation.Positionedtheprogramfocusedonbusinessanalyticsratherthandatasciencebyincludingmarketing,supplychain,finance,andhealthcare,whilefocusingonstrongfoundationindatabases,programming,statistics,optimization,anddecisionanalysis.

• Raised$500,000asseedmoneytostarttheprogram.• EstablishedExecutiveCouncilandIndustryCouncilwithrepresentativesfromtenlarge

MISandSupplyChainProgramDevelopments
• IncreasedcorporatepartnershipwiththeMISmajorbyimprovingrelationshipthroughadvisorycouncilandsteeringcommittees.
• IncreasedcorporatefundingfortheMISprogramby200%to$620,000during2011-15frompartners.Theamountraisedduring2006-2010was$205,000.
• ExpandedMISmajorsby75%sincefall2011toover400majors.Introducedseveralinitiativestoengagestudentswithindustrypartners(e.g.,networkingevents,casecompetitions).
• Despiteseverebudgetcutsduring2011-2014,increasedthenumberofelectivesfocusedonanalytics,supplychain,andquantitativefinanceby100%.
• Despitebudgetcuts,expandedelectiveofferingsinMIS,SCM,andBusinessAnalyticsattheUGandMBAprograms.
• InitiatedMISNewsletterthatgoesout3-4timesayeartoalldonors,alums,andcorporatepartners.
FacultyDevelopment
• Successfullypromoted10facultymembersduringmyfour-yeartenure,whichisthehighestnumberoffacultypromotedinadepartmentattheMcCombsSchoolofBusinessduring2011-2015.ThisincludesfourfromAssistanttoAssociateProfessor;threefromAssociatetoFullProfessor;twofromLecturertoSeniorLecturer;andonefromSeniorLecturertoDistinguishedLecturer.
• Enhancedteachingqualitythroughbetterteachingsupport,personalcoaching,andhigh-caliberadjuncts.
• Successfullynominatedsevenfacultymembersforendowmentappointmentsincludingonetochair,oneforprofessorship,andfiveforfellowship.
• Raisedfundsfromcorporatepartnerstosupportnon-tenuretrackfacultyfordevelopmentduringsummerintheInformationManagementgroup.Increasedsupportfrom$2,000foreachnon-TenureTrackfacultyinsummer2010to$8,000-$10,000forsummer2015.
