histor ical sites are now protected using AAC

Eurovent’s ‘PR’ filters and frames installed in AHU’s.

All necessary parts are provided for either front

access or side access and once the internal

dimensions have been provided to AAC Eurovent

only hand-tools and labour are required by the AHU

manufacturer.

Five Easy Steps To Installing The AAC Swiftkit®.

Step 3.

Fit vertical support channelling (AH003) into position.

Step 4.

Apply foam to rear wall/bulkhead and door panel

using self adhesive sponge

Step 5.

After determining the spacing for the aluminium

extrusions, the aluminium extrusions are then fixed in

place using a pop riveter and adhesive backed brush

pile is applied.

Step 1.

Plan filter layout (typical layout shown) for positioning

of vertical support channelling dictated by the filter

sizes.

Step 2.

Fix bulkhead into position on rear wall. if required to

take up any excess space in the AHU unit.

Introduction

The AAC Skeleton-Frame™ consists of a welded mild

steel or aluminium tubular frame with rear galvanised

mild steel sealing panels. The frame is fitted with high

quality extruded aluminium filter slides complete with

brush pile seals to provide an effective air seal to the

filter cells. Finally an optional removable access door

is fitted to fully seal in the filter cells into the AAC

Skeleton-Frame™. This is secured in place with

handwheel style knobs. The unit is finally sealed into

the Air Handling Unit using galvanised mild steel

angle cloaking strips to prevent any air by-pass.

Introduction

AAC Eurovent's new AAC Colourcell® provides a visual

indication as to the condition of the installed

media. Most media types have a consistent colour/ap-

pearance over their lifetime, however the use of AAC

Eurovent’s “Lynx” media has a visible colour change

which shows the medias condition when used in the

AAC Colourcell®.

This provides the end user/maintenance personnel

with an immediate indication of the medias

condition.

A full quantitive CTC test can also be carried out to

provide a comprehensive verification of the visual

result on the main best type media, should an

in-depth assessment be required.

Features & Benefits

•Provides immediate indication of the media condition

• Low initial cost

• Refillable

• Multi compartments to prevent media settling/compacting and any consequential air by-pass

• State of the art patented technology

A Guide ToReplacement

The AAC Colourcell® is only

used as a guide as to when the

media requires replacement,

consequently to confirm the

visual indication, a sample of

media should be removed

and chemically tested as in

the case when activated

carbon media is used because

it is black in colour and remains

so even at the end of its useful

life.

Media in new/good condition

Media in use with some useful life

Media becoming used -

breakthrough may occur. Possible

chemical test required.

Media fully spent. No life remaining.

Remove a sample and crush - if the interior is purple

this confirms that there is still useful media life.
