Cercon ht medium framework
1
The high level of shade predictability and aesthetics already
becomes apparent in the basic build-up with love. To obtain the
Vita-shade A2, Cercon ht medium and the Cercon ht-Dentin A2
were chosen according to the shade assignment table. The
Cercon ht framework should feature a reduced anatomic con-
tour, respecting the minimum requirements for wall thickness
and connector dimensions.
The reduced aspects of the framework are built up in love ht-Dentin A2 (see work step 2)
Important notes
› When veneering a restoration
– whether fully or partially – the
framework must be selected
based on the requirements of
the build-up technique.
› Staining should generally be
performed before the build-up.

Thanks to a slightly greater translucency, Kiss offers technicians great creative leeway. To obtain the Vita-shade A3 for the basic build-up, choose Cercon ht medium and Cercon ht-Dentin Kiss A3 according to the shade assignment table. The minimum require-ments for wall thickness and connector dimensions as well as the reduced anatomic shape of the framework must be respected.

The individual aesthetic and creative options of-
fered by Kiss are beautifully embodied by this
restoration. To obtain the Vita-shade A3, Cercon

chosen according to the shade assignment
table.

Cercon ht Body-base / Body-match stains on Cercon ht Full-contour staining technique
The new Cercon ht zirconia generation allows the fabri-
cation of fully contoured and stained frameworks. Using
the Cercon ht Body-base und Body-match stains together
with the traditional Cercon stains, you can use Cercon ht
light and medium to create your restorations in the ap-
propriate Vita-shade.

Notes: The shade and appearance of highly translucent framework mate-rials are influenced by the shade of the underlying prepared tooth. In addition, non-vital and/or severely discoloured hard tissue or coloured cementing agents may further affect the aesthetic result.
Moreover, highly variable cross-sections of the framework will also have an impact on shade. These effects can be compensated for by applying suitable ceramic stains.
15
The staining concept with Cercon ht Body-base and Body-match stains
Notes: body base and stains (e.g. amber, taiga, pink) should be mixed with a spatula tip of glaze to ensure an even lustre of the restoration; no addi-tional glaze firing will be required.
When veneering a restoration – whether fully or partially – the framework must be selected based on the requirements of the build-up technique.Staining should generally be performed before the build-up.

* Mix materials as listed. The reference quantity is the small end of the scooper.
** If fully or partially veneered bridge elements are combined with fully contoured elements in one bridge, the Cercon ht shade must be selected as per the veneering concept table. This applies to love and Kiss in Vita shades A2 and C2.

Slow cooling is mandatory after the last firing; this includes correction firings of restorations after try-in. The firing tem-perature must be adapted to the number of units fired in the same cycle. Five to ten units require an increase by 5°C to 10°C; more than ten units require an in-crease by 10°C to 20°C. The values lis-ted here are intended for orientation only and should be regarded only as guideli-nes. Your firing results may differ. All fi-ring results depend on the performance
of the furnace used, which in turn de-pends on the make, model and age of the furnace. Therefore, the guideline va-lues will have to be adapted individually for each firing. We recommend running a test firing cycle to evaluate the perfor-mance of the furnace used. We have compiled and checked all values and other data with great care. However, we cannot be liable for your results under any circumstances.

Cercon ht-Body-base Set
These stains developed for fully contoured crowns and bridges made of Cercon ht light and medium are characterized by two major benefits:
1. Obtain your Vita shade in combination with the appropriate Cercon ht material.
2. The stains were produced by a special procedure, therefor are very delicate and stable for easy application to the framework without pooling.
