Cut 3—2-1/4" x WOF strips. Sew strips into one long strip to use for binding.

Sewing Directions: Press all seams to one side and use ¼" seams. Refer to the quilt image for placement and stitching of applique blocks.

Circle Applique Block 1. Lay out four dark red 2” finished squares, four blue 2”

finished squares, four green 2” finished squares around one black dot 4” finished square as shown.

2. Sew together the blue and green 2” finished squares from one side. Sew this unit onto the black dot 4” finished square.

3. Repeat Step 2 with the blue and green 2” finished squares from the the other side.

4. Sew the squares on the top row together. Do the same to the squares on the bottom row.

5. Sew the three rows together to make an 8” finished square.

6. Apply an 8-1/2" square fusible to the back of this square.

7. With a GO! Circle-8” die (55360 or 55462), center and cut an 8” circle from the pieced square.

8. Center and fuse the circle on a cream 9-1/2" x 14” rectangle. Applique in place.

9. Repeat Steps 1 to 8 to make a second block.

Center Block 1. Sew one cream and one blue 2-1/4" finished half square

triangle (HST) (Shape 5) together as shown. Make two HST units.

2. Sew one cream and one green 2-1/4" finished HST (Shape 5) together as shown. Make two HST units.

3. Lay out and sew the four HST units to make a square center as shown.

4. Sew a cream 2-1/4" x 4-1/2" finished rectangle to opposite sides of the center.

5. Sew a cream 2-1/4" x 9” finished rectangle to the remaining sides of the center to complete the Center Block.

Assemble the Quilt Top 1. Sew a Circle applique block on both sides of the Center

Block to complete the pieced quilt as shown in the quilt layout.

2. Place the Spoon, Fork and Knife shapes on the pieced quilt as shown in the quilt layout. Fuse and applique shapes in place.

Quilting and Finishing 1. Layer batting between quilt top and backing.

2. Pin or baste layers together.

3. Quilt as desired.

4. Trim excess batting and backing along the edges of the quilt.

5. Add binding, mitering corners.
