Quick  Start  Guide  

CONFIGURING  YOUR  NEW  BOOM  BROADBAND  NBN  CONNECTION   Your NBN service will now be provided through the UNI-D2 port on the NBN Connection Box. You will need to ensure your router is plugged into this port. Simply unplug the Ethernet cable from the current port and transfer to the UNI-D2 port. Once the router is plugged into the UNI-D2 port you will then need to configure the PPPoE Username and Password by following the instructions below:    CONNECTING  THE  ROUTER  TO  THE  INTERNET  

 

1. Open  your  Web  browser  and  type  http://192.168.20.1  into  the  address  bar  at  the  top  of  the  web  browser  window  and  press  Enter.  

2. Enter  admin  into  both  the  username  and  password  fields  and  click  Login.    

A. If   the  “First-­‐Time   Setup  Wizard”   is   displayed,   click the No thanks, take me to the Basic Interface button to configure your NetComm  Wireless  Router.  

B. If  the  “First-­‐Time  Setup  Wizard”  is  not  displayed  continue  on  to  Step  3.  

3. Select  the  WAN  tab  from  the  left  hand  side  of  the  screen.        WAN:  1. Select   the   WAN   type   PPPoE   (PPP   over  

Ethernet)   and   enter   details   as   supplied   in  your  activation  email.      

 

These  usually  look  like  this  –    Username:  yourname@boombroadband.com.au  Password:  a1b2c3d4e5    

(This  is  the  default  password)    

2. After  entering  the  required  details,  click    

Save  and  apply  the  changes.
