    Tourism, already one of the worlds biggest industries, is

    expected to treble in size by the year 2015. Tourism

    means is a staying away from ones normal place of

    residence which includes at least one night but it less than

    a year. The Brunei Darussalam travel and tourism industryconsists of a variety of commercial and non-commercial

    organizations that interact to supply products and services

    to tourists. Today, Brunei Tourism concern about tourism

    impact on fragile social and economic is leading toattempt to make it more sustainable.

    PROBLEM STATEMENT

    Tourism in Brunei is one of the fastest growing

    industries. It is believe managed to diversify the Brunei

    economy from over depending on one major Brunei

    natural non-renewal resources which is oil and gasindustry. Therefore, the development of tourism can also

    develop other inter-related industries and services such

    as hotel, catering, cottage industries, leisure and

    recreational activities as well as development intransportation and communication. Tourism is very big

    and lucrative business.

    AIM AND OBJECTIVES

    The main aim of this project is to study thecontribution of Tourism industry towards economic of

    Brunei. Hence, in order to achieve this aim, there areseveral objectives to stand for the project, they are :

    1. Background of Brunei Tourism industry.

    2. To observe the development of KNK pro.

    3. The positive social impact of KNK towards

    economy of Brunei.

    RESEARCH SCOPE

    The research scope only concentrated Brunei

    Muara District. Research merely conducted in

    Brunei-Muara District. This is due to its industries

    and other services are mostly located in Brunei-

    Muara District. The research will be conducted by

    a means of library research, questionnaires and

    interview. Besides, the population in the Brunei-Muara District is the highest compared to the other

    districts.

    METHODOLOGY

    In this study the researcher needs will requirematerials and information to help performance in thisstudy. Apply Research will taken into account in thisresearch, the impact and consequences of socialphenomenon. This research is in a formed ofQualitative and Quantitative. Qualitative Research isnot everything that can be counted counts and noteverything that counts can be counted. The essential

    distinguishing features of qualitative approaches areexploration as a means to understand perceptions andactions of participants or informants.

    Library research is a library which contains an in-depth

    collection of material on one or several subjects. Generallylibrary research included primary and secondary resources.Information can be obtained via books reading, articles,

    paperwork, reports, press, news papers, thesis,

    dissertation, internet and others. Besides this information

    can also be obtained through documentary videos whichprovided by University Brunei Darussalam in BruneianaSection as well as General Collections.

    The interview is commonly made orally. In an interviewusually occurs between the two parties, the first intervieweror information hunter. The second is informant act as

    information giver. According to Kartini (1980:171), interviewis very important method in order to obtain informationneeded by the researcher in achieving researchers aim andobjectives. Moreover, Kadir Parahoo (2006:316), interview is

    a verbal communication is the most effective meansavailable to researcher which to convey feelings,experiences, views and intentions. Researcher willinterrogate with a number of informants in acquiring,analyzing and evaluate the data given by the informants.

    Benefits to the countryBrunei Darussalam is located within the worlds

    fastest growing region for tourism. BruneiDarussalam is also one of few places in the region tooffer peace, tranquility and relaxed vacations. Brunei

    tourism has indentified the types of investmentprojects that could be most beneficial to the growthof the destination and most profitable to the investors

    as they would fill a gap in Bruneis currents tourismofferings.
