Check your email for account confirmation.



Go back to the PowToon URL to login



Login using your account details:



Welcome to your PowToon account!



To start creating a presentation, you can either choose Start from Scratch, or choose from Ready Made Templates:



Try Start from Scratch!



Choose Start from Scratch, click Edit



Wait for the template to load…



This will be your blank canvas:



So what are the different parts of the dashboard?



The slide pane is where you add your presentation details, just like your Powerpoint or Keynote slides.



Toggle this portion to switch between movie or presentation mode:



You can add and delete slides depending on the length of your presentation:



This area shows the title of your presentation. Edit it to rename your work, then click SAVE.



This button here is the preview button. Hitting this will show you how your presentation looks like.



The Export button allows you to Publish, Upload, Download or share your

presentation in social media.



You can choose a layout for your presentation:



And pick from the different layouts listed

in your dashboard:



Or you can also choose a background:



And choose from the following

options:



Choose a background:



Your screen will now show your chosen background:



Now, add text by clicking Text:



Choose the text layout that you want

from the options:



Your chosen text will appear in your screen



And the timeline below:



The timeline shows when your presentation starts and when it

ends.



This point marks the entrance of the text in the presentation:



And this one is the exit

point:



Adjust the entrance timing by moving the vertical lines to

shorten or lengthen the time:



Same goes for the exit

timing:



Move the time from 10s to 3s. This means

that the picture/text will leave the screen at the 3rd second:



You can also add effects by clicking the Effects button (box with 4 arrows)



Choosing Right will make the

entrance of the text to go to the right:



The same can be done for the exit of the image/text.



Just click on the effects button

and choose from the available

effects.



Click left so that the

image will exit going to the left.



Every once in a while, you can click the PLAY button to see how your presentation looks like starting from the

chosen slide:



Or click the smaller play button to play the presentation from the beginning:

Now, let’s add more awesome things to your presentation!



Move the red arrow to the next second

when the image

disappears:



And add a new image

from the library:



Choose from one of

the available

characters:



Your chosen

character is now in

the screen.



Let us add more text:



Type the desired text in the text box:



Click the text box to edit the

text’s size, font,etc.



Adjust the entrance and exit of the objects in

the timeline:



Now move to the next second:



You can add objects, and choose from the

following options:

You can add graphs to your presentation,

too



Sounds, as well!



It is much preferred to add the voiceover first, then add the animations. Why? It will you with the timings, making it easier to add slides and

animations.



Click Soundtrack to choose audio files



You can import a pre-recorded voice over from your files:



And/Or music track:



Or you can also choose from the PowToon playlist:



Click Apply once done:



You can also add Media



And choose from the available

images in PowToon:



Or upload from your local files:



You can add images



And videos, too



Always remember to SAVE your work! Although PowToon

autosaves every 5 minutes, it is important to click save

regularly.



Once you are done with your movie/presentation, you

can now Export it:



You can publish to

your PowToon,



Upload to the following

sharing sites



Note of those tagged as premium, meaning these are not available

to free accounts.



Download to your local files,



or share it to you social

media accounts:



Amazing, right?



You can also create a presentation using

Ready Made Templates.



Click Quick Menu



Choose New Project



Choose one of the ready made templates, and click Edit



Wait for the template to load



Voila! This is your ready made template!



Click PLAY to see how the presentation looks like.



Go to each slide to EDIT the objects, animations according to your needs.



Just apply the same editing options discussed earlier! :-)
