Resolution 2012-01:

Election of Office of the President CESO AI President, Atty. Lynn D. Moreno as NUCESO Treasurer

• In view of the assumption to office of Atty. Moreno as NUCESO Treasurer, there was a need to make corresponding changes in the authorized signatories for the NUCESO Bank Accounts at BPI Family Bank and Banco De Oro both at Isidora Hills



Resolution 2012-02:

Election of NEDA Regional Office No. 11 Regional Director Milagros A. Rimando as NUCESO Secretary

• Former NUCESO Secretary, NAPOLCOM NCR Regional Director Yolanda S. Lira wished to relinquish her post to attend to pressing concerns at the NAPOLCOM

• Regional Director Rimando who has previously served as Assistant Secretary was elected to the position of NUCESO Secretary



Resolution 2012-03:

Amending Resolution No. 11-01 Containing Signatories of NUCESO Bank Accounts

• Former NUCESO Secretary, NAPOLCOM NCR Regional Director Yolanda S. Lira wished to relinquish her post to attend to pressing concerns at the NAPOLCOM

• Regional Director Rimando who has previously served as Assistant Secretary was elected to the position of NUCESO Secretary



Resolution 2012-04:

The NUCESO Election Procedures Manual

• Election of the President and Vice-President shall be conducted every two (2) years

• Designated voting day is on the 2nd day of the Annual CES Conference

• One polling station shall be established at the venue of the Conference

• Voting shall be done through secret ballot and shall be terminated after two (2) hours from its commencement

• The Appeal Committee shall be created from among five (5) members of the NUCESO Board of Trustees

• Newly-elected officers shall assume office in January of the following year



Resolution 2012-05:

Appointment of Atty. Arturo M. Lachica, Deputy Executive Director of the Career Executive Service Board as Chairman of the NUCESO Committee on Elections

• The Chairman of the NUCESO Committee on Elections: shall act as the Chief Operating Officer of the conduct

of election shall exercise general direction and supervision over

the administrative conduct of the election, enforce fairness, impartiality and compliance with NUCESO’s By-Laws and Election Procedures

may appoint Election Officers may revoke appointment of an Election Officer on

grounds of incapacity or political partisanship



Resolution 2012-06:

Requesting the DBM to Increase by 30% the Budget for the Extraordinary and Miscellaneous Expenses as Provided inthe GAA of 2013

• Section 23 of the GAA determines the amount allocated for Extraordinary and Miscellaneous Expenses

• The NUCESO requests the DBM to increase the stipulated amount by 30% in view of the alarming increases in the prices of commodities, goods and services



Resolution 2012-07:

Approval of the Request of REAWESMIN for a Cash Advance for Purposes of the Conduct of the 11th CES Convention in Zamboanga City

• The release of cash advance in the amount of Five Hundred Thousand Pesos (Php500,000) to cover initial expenses on preparations for the event was granted



Resolution 2012-08:

The Revised NUCESO Election Procedures Manual

Revised Provisions:

• Closing time for the filing of certificate of candidacy shall be at exactly 5:00 p.m. on the first day of the Annual CES Conference (Sec. 4.4)

• The Election Committee shall evaluate the certificates of candidacy and, thereafter, post the name of qualified candidates (Sec. 4.5)
