SCHOOL DANCE

This year's first all school dance is this Friday the 28th! Tickets will be sold for $5.00in the café Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Weather depending, the dance will be in the courtyard for a night under the stars! BE THERE!! Let's see if the 8th graders can dance as well as the seventh graders at our last dance.

Looking for a new club to join this year? Ready to get out there and make a difference in our

community? Join JRSADD. We will have our first JRSADD meeting on Tuesday September 22 in the AUD from 2:30- 3:25. Come and listen to our first speaker of the year and learn more

about JRSADD. See Mrs. Skowron in Room 305, if you have any questions.

Please be sure to adhere to the district’s dress code policy. Examples of inappropriate clothing include but are not limited to short shorts, midriff tops, tank tops, spaghetti strap tops and flip flops.

Students who would like to work in the school store during 6th, 8th or 10th period lunch should pick up applications in the main office. Completed applications should be returned to the main office as soon as possible. Thank you.

Attention to all students who are interested in being a part of this

year LMS musical. Our first membership meeting is Thursday September 24 in the

Auditorium from 2:30 - 3:30. You must attend at least one

membership meeting in order to be apart of the musical in anyway. If

you have any questions please stop and see Mrs. Conlon in room 113 in

the afternoon.

Attention to all students who are interested in auditioning for Select Chorus. Auditions will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd or Wednesday, September 23rd from 2:30 - 3:30 in room 114. If you have any questions please stop and see Mrs. Conlon in room 113 in the afternoons.

Box Tops Contest • HSA is running a Box Tops Contest

• October 1 – April 1

• The top 7th and 8th grade homeroom will win breakfast for a day.

• Last year the homerooms chose to have Tim Hortons and Paula's Donuts!!!

• Put Box Tops in a zip lock with your homeroom number on it.

• Drop it in one of the bins: outside Mrs. Arnold’s room #111 or in the front office.

• Progress updates will be announced periodically so listen for your homeroom status!!!

• A top ten 7th and 8th grade homeroom list will be outside Mrs. Arnold's room

The first meeting of the Handbell Choir will be on Wednesday,

Sept. 23 at 2:30 in room 115. You must be able to read music to join this group. See Mrs. Fehrman in room 115 if you have questions.
