against which it is generating 6,600 MW through

with its population and current domestic use is close

to 55% of its energy requirement and is growing

• At the time of discovery, reserves of natural gas

of Sui were estimated to meet 100% energy

requirements of Pakistan for over hundred years.

We today have used up 75% reserves in 50 years

• With growing energy shortage several Pakistan

Industries have been shifted to Bangladesh and

most are operating at 50% – 75% of their

capacity

the national grid and this usage is shifted to
