PowerDraft Shortcut Setup

The following describes how to make the most of the PowerDraft shortcut functionsto continue using promis-e as easily as possible.

Copy the shortcut.txt file to your ‘C:\promis-e Data\Config’ folder or somewhere elseeasy to find.

In PowerDraft use the menu item ‘Workspace>Configuration’ and locate the variable‘MS_ACCUDRAWKEYS’ 

Click ‘Select’ and locate the ‘C:\promis-e Data (M)\Config\Shortcut.txt’ file.

Click ‘Yes’ to accept the changes.

Restart PowerDraft and you will now be able to use the shortcut commands. Make

sure to hit the spacebar before typing the shortcut letter.

Once you are in a page of the project you can try the following:

Hit space followed by one of the following letter combinations:

Adding to the list is done by finding the promis-e command (use SPACE followed byGK), then typing ECAD and clicking on the exec in the middle column. Scroll downthe list of command until you locate the command you want to assign to a shortcut.

Then use SPACE followed by ? to show the shortcuts. Either edit a shortcut you don’tthink you will need or click on ‘New’ and enter a letter combination, description andcommand.

Ensure that if you have a shortcut of SS that you don’t then enter a new shortcut ofS. This will prevent all 2 character shortcuts prefixed with S from working.
