Evening slowly descends over the city of Halloween which seems asleep.It is midnight and, as if by magic, a spell enwraps the streets that are now in full moonlight...the moon had risen in surprise, in the corner of the sky.It is Halloween, the celebration of dead people, of the werewolves, the witches and of other monsters that come to our life once a year. A cold air goes through the street that comes to life, the lights get turned on, the trees move to the wind, strange shadous float around the houses, and a strange yell freezes the blood in your veins.

Children are transformed, the costumes they wear come to life, and monsters become the rulers of their tiny bodies that used to be happy only senconds ago.

Doors open with a creak, the windows break and the glass flies around the room, reddening every thing closeby.

Ooh, it was only a dream coming out of the virtual reality of my computer.

On a scary Halloween night , all the children were preparing to go to every house to 'trick-or-treat' . They went to all the houses , except a huge old scary house , situated on the outskirts of the town , which was said to be haunted . 

A little lonely  ghost who wanted to make friends lived in that house .

He decided to earn courage and go out, in the town . 

Walking into the town , the ghost was stopped by a pumpkin .

Near the pumpkin there was a child. He started to scream , but the ghost told him not to scream because he did not do anything bad.

The child looked frightened around him , not knowing who was talking.

The ghost showed itself and he told the child to go somewhere more recluse .

There , the ghost told him : "I am Jack, I'll never do anything bad . I just want to be your friend . Well , I was not always a ghost...100 years ago , I was a very happy child , I had everything I wanted ... I had a perfect life ..." . With tears in his eyes , the ghost continued : " But unfortunately I died run over a train , and I became a ghost ."

The boy stared at him and, after a few minutes , he smiled and said : "I am Frank , I want to be your friend . "

Then , Jack showed Frank the house where he live . "So you live here ! Everyone says that this house is haunted " ,

said Frank.Jack said nothing and made a sign to him to enter the house.

Frank spent a few moments without saying anything and suddenly said to Jack : " I've got an idea ! Let's rennovate  this house for you , not to be so scary , to coloured the walls to be more welcoming . "

Jack was excited at Frank's words and, the next day , they thought of colouring the walls . 

Frank quickly went home , and told his parents what had happened . They have started laughing so hard , then told him that ghosts do not exist .

Being angry, the child withdrew to his bedroom and did some sketches for the house . 

The next day , Jack went to the child's home and him and Frank begging Frank's parents to follow them.

They were shocked and, finally , they listened to those two .Once there , the parents were surprised when they saw a big

house coloured by their son .Jack asked the child's parents to move to his house with him ,

to spend their life with him.Frank's family moved along with Jack and had a nice quiet life.

Knock,Knock...

The creepy old house was a little too silent.Sometimes,I wonder how the house is decorated inside?

When i knocked,the door opened and there was a woman.When i

said "trick or treat",she told me to come in.The candles and torches were all turn on.

It was creepy because there were costomes with witches and wizards which moves.

I tried to calm myself down but,then,i saw the moonlight.The woman asked me if i wanted a piece of pumpkin and i said no,because i had to go home.

I left and i realised that was the reason why no children went there.

On Halloween day , we meet people who are disquised in demons, wizards , people with different masks on their faces , but the most significant symbol of Halloween is the carved pumpkin that represents Jack's lantern and the famous saying is "Trick or Treat?". The story goes like that any person who goes to the graveyard at midnight never leaves alive. On such

a night, a group of friends decided to go and see if the legend was true.They went to the graveyard, but one of them decided to stay at the entrance because he was afraid.At a certain moment, he saw the boys running towards him, wide-eyed.The boy started screaming, and the people who lived close by came to his help.When he got there, the boys were already dead and we do not know even today what has happened.

The house from across the street

Raluca Ioana Vaceff There was a creepy old house in the neighbourhood.Halloween night arrived and there was full moon. Two children decided that it would be fun if they visited that house. So they went there,but they didn't find a way to enter and they jumped over the fence.For fun,they knocked on the door. Suddenly it opened so they entered. It was a big scary house,with spider webs and candles.One of the children bit a candle with matches. Black shadows started dancing arround them and they freaked out, so they started screaming.

The children started to run, wanting to escape, but the door shut. Really loud and creepy noises started to came from each room in the house and all the furniture was flying. Unfortunetly the children didn't escape and no one ever heard anything about them.

It was a dark night with a bloody moon.It was the night of 31st of October.It is the night when the spirits come to the reality ,even if they are costumed as kids or if they are real spirits.

A group of kids,were going from house to house and they scared people off,until they arrived in front of a house.It was a creepy old house.Some of them thought that the house was haunted.

It took less than 5 minutes for them to enter the yard.They arrived in front of the house when the door opened and a strange noise was heard and they entered the house.Exploring far and wide,they arrived in front of a glass case full of old photos.Every photo had its own story.

At some moment,amazed by the mysterious house,they were interrupted by a book that had fallen from the bookshelf.When they went to sick up the book, then all the

books started to fly from one side to the other of the room.Frightened,they started to run,until they arrived to a hall.At the end of this hall,there was a strange door.

When they entered the door,they saw a chair surraunded by many candles.The chair turned slowly around and a feminine silhouette appeared. Awestruck,they froze and this silhouette come to them and she took one of them by his arm an told him: "Welcome to my game, I had not had visitors for a while.""It is hard to have fun,when you have been dead for a hundred years and nobody comes to visit you."

Terrified,they started to run,until they fell into a grave ,where they spent their whole life.

At a certain moment,Andrew,one of those kids,realized that all had been just a nightmare.

It's October 31st 2013. Today is that magic day , called Halloween. Little Josh goes trick or treating with his friends. They all went through the city for candies and lollipops, but little Josh got near a creepy forest. Josh walked into the forest and he found a cabin. An old cabin in the middle of

the forest. Josh knocked and knocked on the door , but no one answered. After a few seconds, the door opened by itself. Josh was terrified , but his curiosity urged him to go inside. A strange smell invaded the room and the window immediatly opened. Josh was completely terrified and he ran to the basement. Josh looked around and he didn't see anybody. With all of this he was not alone. In that basement there was a demon, a little demon called Seth. That demon was sad and alone but when Josh came to the house he felt him and became very happy. He wanted a friend and his friend was Josh. And since that day , they became very close friends.

It was a cold and scary Hallowen night.The children were on their way home.

They passed around Mr.Smith's house.He didn't live in this house for a year.Suddenly ,the children heard a strange noise.They opened the door and they climbed the stairs.Stairs began to move and a giant pumpkin came to their face.The pumpkin actually had a mesage on it .

The pumpkin wrote read "Don't go!".The children were scared and started to run.The pumpkin was sent by a ghost a lonely ghost.

It did not mean any harm to the kids it, just wanted play with them.

She was trying to attract humen beings because of its loneliness.

When they saw the ghost,the children were left stiff.

The ghost told the children that they had peaceful intentions, and they became the ghost's friends.

The ghost wasn't lonely,but she had made new friends.

It all started in a dark night before Halloween when me and my friend Maria found a very old book on alchemy and magic in my grandmother's attic. We thought it was funny to read a few words but, by mistake we brought to life evil spirits and vampires. We saw some garlic hanging from the ceiling and we were lucky: all the vampires vanished . But the evil spirits were still there and in an instant they took over my friend's body .it was the most frightening thing I had ever

experienced . Her eyes were empty and her voice sounded like an animal ready to be sacrificed . Hearing my screaming , my neighbour Agnez, a 99 years old lady came to my rescue . I always thought she was a little weird but when she started talking to the spirits I knew she was a witch . She locked the book with a spell,saying words that seemed to come from a long lost language. Them , Agnes vanished into the darkness .

It was a normal Halloween night ...Okay not that normal , it's still a Halloween night . The kids were treat -or- treating , the houses were decorated and the whole town was in totally darkness and , look at me,a 142 years-old vampire ,hiding in the shadows,afraid of going outside . I'm afraid of being a friendly vampire, because in a few years , the people I knew would die and I would suffer .

The choice is taken , I will finally meet someone , I will go to high-school and I will be the most friendly vampire ever .

I'm here at high school , on my first day . Something strange has happened today , I met a girl , she went out of the bathroom and we bumped into each other .I felt something that I had never felt in my entire life , but there's a problem : she's human , I know the risk , but I have to get to know her .

 Pumpkin pies smell great and the farmer's wife was the best cook I had ever met , but no one knew a thing , not even us . Stay with us and you will see .

Halloween night , this year , was a very foggy and a very cold one . I think it was the coolest Halloween night , I had ever felt . And that is just the beginning .

As every child , Damon , Rebekah and I , we went trick -or- treating . We visited so many people that I couldn't remember , where we went and where we didn't .

Suddenly , we reached a house , it didn't look scary ... or maybe that is what I could see in that fog . We rang at the door . The door opened , making a strange noise , then we heard a voice yelling :

W : '' I'm coming ! ''

D : '' I bet that this is a very kind person ! '' *whispering*

V : '' How can you know just from the way she talks ? ''

D : '' I have a special ability , that makes me know people just from the way they're talking . ''

W : '' Hey , dears ! ''

D : '' Hey , Mrs ...umm...Witch ! You're dressed in a Halloween's attire , aren't you ? ''

W : '' I wanted to be costumed like you , teens ! Who wants a pumpkin pie ? ''

R : '' Me , me I do . I love pumpkin pies ! ''

W : '' Oh , really ? Then you get two of these ! ''

R : '' Thank you , Mrs ...''

W : '' Bennett ...Abby Bennett ! Children , would you like to come in ? ''

All : '' Yes , of course . Why not ? ''

Then Rebekah started to cough persistently ...

D : '' What did she eat ? ''

V : Nothing , just pumpkin pies ... Wait ! ...What was there in those pies ? ''

W : '' Vampire venom ...''

All : '' What ? '' *yelling*

D : '' So are we gonna be vampires ? ''

W : '' Yes , but you neet to complete the transition . ''

V : '' And how are we going to do that ? ''

W : '' By feeding with human blood ... ''

D : '' I'm not going to complete the transition !!! ''

W : '' Then you are going to die by tomorrow ... ''

Then suddenly all the children , fall on the floor coughing so hard . Then a human walked into the rooom , we knew that by the smell , spicy like cinnamon .

W : '' Drink ! ''

Rebekah drank , but I didn't . Then Damon did , my head was pounding , I felt like my skin was on fire , I had this hunger that I had never felt in my entire life . A nd the last one , was me . After I drank all the blood from that body , the pain started .

When I killed once , the werewolf's curse was released , I knew what I have become : half werewolf , half vampire .

I was born a werewolf , but magic made me a vampire , so ... I was a hybrid .

The witch was amazed :

W : '' How did that happen ? ''

V : '' I think I was born a werewolf ! ''

I killed that witch , Damon was totally wrong about her kindness . She just didn't have a heart , that was her curse , she couldn't love or feel .

But I was totally sure about one thing , I was a hybrid . I don't know exactly what that means but that's the right word for sure . The whole way back I thought about how I could tell my parents that I'm a hybrid . That was the last Halloween I had celebrated from then on .

That night , I couldn't sleep , I always thought , was a gift or was it something to worry about ? What do you think ?

I was walking in the street on a cold,windy Halloween night.

As I reached the end of that street I noticed some shadows came to me from round the corner.

As I was aware of the fact that when they are lit by moonlight,these shadows (in fact ghosts) became walkers (people who have died and now they are no longer awere of what they are doing).

I began to run away from what I saw later that was only one ghost who,because there was moonlight ,became a walker.

I decided to find a dark place to take that walker,to make him come back to normal.

When we reached that dark place,that walker finally kneeled in front of me and turned into sand.

It was night time.A smile on the moon….no.If you only knew what was going to happen that night….The story started on the night of 31st October,in aghost-village,where only a form existed.The plan of the farmer was to impress his wife with a good ‘joke’ of Halloween.But it wasn’t only a joke.The farmer was walking in the forest alone,looking for a place to hide.But,suddenly,he stopped on his way and felt something strange.He transformed.He transformed into a walking dead,who was looking for food.Probably you’re asking yourself why I’ve written ‘ghost’ in the title.That’s because was the prisoner of a ghost.He started to ask himself,thinking that maybe the gost will hear.That things happened,and,when the farmer said ‘stop’,the ghost let the farmer free,exactly at full moonlight.

A Halloween Story__________

It was Halloween night, a cold and frightening night. The house were decorated the pumpkins were painted and costumed children were walking on dark streets.

"STOP, do not go there" keeps sounding in my mind and now I can hear my girlfriend, who is crying less brave I decided to go, was an abandoned house further It where all creaked. "Go back, I'm afraid, I do not know where those sounds come" Miki was right we did not move from but our steps seems to echo in the terror house. Everything seemed ripped from a scary movie. We walked a bit around the house, terrified at sounds that could be heard a musical background.

I told this story that happened to me a long time so I found out that the house belonged to a member in the family of the famous Dracula from Transylvania.

The Werewolf and She

“What a dark forest! I’m really scared! I wonder how I will get out of here.”

The girl was twelve years old and she didn’t remember how she had got there. It was getting dark and strange noises could be heard everywhere.

“I couldn’t sleep at all! I wonder if I can go hunting tonight… What a sad werewolf I will be if I am so hungry…”

The dragon was hungry too, and, most of all, he loved fresh meat. The little girl was perfect dinner for him.

Not knowing they were so hungry, the girl advanced carelessly towards then. A second was all it took, the dragon to attack. A shout, deep fear, blue eyes and dark hair. The werewolf was in love.

The girl was suddenly pulled from the claws of the dragon and carried away. She was the prisoner of the werewolf.

“How did I get here?” said the girl, blinking.

“I brought you here.” answered the werewolf.

“Don’t be scared!”

So the girl was so confused to see a werewolf speaking to her…

Strangely, she was not scared.

“I want to go home!” the whispered softly.

“You will go home, but no right now!”

“Why not?” said the girl.

“Because it’s dangerous! The dragon is out hunting again and only I can protect you!”

The two of them spend hours talking and at midnight, they got out of the cave and sat on a moonlit meadow. The werewolf was so happy that he had forgotten about his hunger. The girl was smiling, too. It was Halloween night. How do you think this story ended?

One day... Actually, I will not start this way because it was not one day, it was on October 31st.It was a day that marked me because that day I learnt how to defeat my biggest fear:snake.

Ever since childhood, I used to be scared of these animals.I was scared to even watch them on TV but... one day, I decided not to be scared anymore, to stop being afraid... And that day was October 31st, when my friends brought me a snake in the box... When I touched the snake, I realised it is harmless.

It was a beautiful day,because I learnt not to be afraid anymore.

You should learn that, too, because it will always help you in life.
