Pot ads on local Denver TV stations are going to have to wait.

On July 16, the Denver Post reported that KMGH-TV was going to be the first television station in thecountry to run a marijuana TV ad. The ad was slated to run tonight at 10:35 p.m., airing after thestation's TV newscast and before tonight's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" show.

But those plans are on pause.

A day later, the Post reported that the ads have been put on hold, with the ads now in the hands ofthe lawyers at KMGH's parent.

The ads would have promoted The Green Solution, a company with pot dispensaries in the state, andNeos, which sells cannabis-oil-loaded vape pens.
