A space for finding out: Our collection contains over 3,100 books, 300 DVDs, 100 CDs, 30 journals about health Our website www.capculturesante.org offers help for finding your way through the latest information about health. A space for meeting: Every year, around 35 events provide an opportunity for over 1,100 people to talk to others concerned with health: researchers, healthcare providers, patients… Ask questions about health We are not doctors – we are librarians! Every year we answer over 200 questions via the Guichet du savoir [Knowledge Desk] and help the public in their searches for information. Get started on an activity for your well-being Once per month, "La santé en pratique" [Health in Practice] allows about twelve people to try out out a discipline. Some of our activities would not be possible without the involvement of our partners: universities and research centres, institutions, associations of patients and health professionals. COMPREHENSION ACTION The library is a venue for screening and prevention campaigns. Kidney disease, cancer, nutrition, diabetes, mental health, life-saving first aid...
