GuidelinesThe A3 template is set up as A3 (297x420mm)

TextPlease keep the sizes of the text to asclose to the template as possible.

This is the template for A3 posters

Please use the colours all ready being used within the relevant template

1. Insert picture

Insert picture from the ‘Insert’ menu at the top.

2. Change shapeChange the shape of the picture by selecting the picture, then highlighting theshape menu, change to oval/circle.

NOTE: Please make sure the picture is circular by using the ‘format’ menu. If theheight and width do not match don’t manually change the size of the picture,as this will distort it. Please use the crop tool.

NOTE: The size of the circles is flexible but they should never appear smaller than 45mm in diameter.

3. KeylineHave the picture selected and change the line colour to the darker blue with aweight of 19pt (15pt for A4, 11pt for A5)

NOTE: Keylines should always run to the centre of the circles and start and

finish from the side of the page.

KeylinesNOTE: The keylines for the A3 poster are 19 point in width are always in the darker blue

PicturesThe main picture is always circular.This can done by:

Step 1

Select ‘Basic Shapes’ within the ‘AutoShapes’ menu.

Select ‘Oval’

Step 2

Double click the circle, which will bring upthe ‘Format AutoShape’ sub-menu.

Select the ‘Size’ tab.

Make sure height and width are the same.

Step 3

Select the first tab within ‘Format AutoShape’ sub-menu(colours and lines).

Select the first box‘Colour’

Scroll down to ‘Fill Effects’ at the bottom of the menu.

Colours and lines – This is also where the border can be changed.

The ‘Fill Effects’ sub menu will pop up.

Select the 4th tab ‘Picture’

Step 5

Select the picture from file.




KeylinesNOTE: The keylines for the A4 poster are 15 point in width are always in the darker blue and run to the centre of the circles.
