Thank you for your participation and support at Aviation Festival Asia 2015.
This report provides you with an overview of what happened at the conference and exhibition, along with
valuable information on the event’s attendees, production, marketing campaign, as well as information on
plans for next year. We hope you will find it useful, and please do get in touch if you have specific
questions or comments about the content here.
Aviation Festival Asia 2015 transformed itself from the successful 10-year track records of World Low
Cost Airlines Congress. In its 11th year, the event gathered a total of 1,140 unique industry professionals,
with 32% coming from full-service airlines, low cost carriers, and airports from the Asia Pacific and
beyond.
Rich content was generated from 8 panels, 19 roundtable discussions, 31 on-floor case studies and 43
individual talks. This shook up the industry with first-hand updates on strategies and innovations across
five brands under the festival banner.
Particularly noteworthy of 2015 were the involvement of 78 sponsors and exhibitors, as well as an
impressive speaker faculty that was comprised of CXOs and senior members from airlines and airports.
Many of these executives arranged a number of meetings with each other around the festival, confirming
its reputation as not just an industry forum, but also a must-go event where real business gets done.
A quick note on 2016
Next year, our conference format is being refreshed to include more industry focused sessions on the
following six brands to make it a one-stop-shop for the entire aviation industry. This exciting format will
explore new products, business models, strategies and opportunities. We can’t wait to explore new
technologies and services offered in these fields as we begin to work on it.

MARKETING
The Aviation Festival Asia conference and exhibition, together with its co-located
events took on a more integrated and extensive marketing campaign spanning close
to 50 weeks! Next to traditional marketing channels, we also incorporated a series of
innovative ideas, capitalising on multiple channels to reach our global target
audiences. The promotion undertaken included a mix of different channels such as
direct mail, digital marketing, third party media channels, social media and press
relations.
Marketing plan overview:
A total of 8,000 brochures were printed and mailed to our past attendees as
well as a carefully selected audience of airlines, airports and solutions providers
were mailed
A total of 6,000 visitor tickets were also printed and mailed to drive visitors to
the exhibition
Over 950,000 emails were sent as part of our internal email marketing
campaign commencing at 45 weeks
We also sent 3rd party electronic mail blasts via partnerships with trade media
partners. These EDMs promoted the conference and exhibition and was sent to
over 200,000 contacts
The event was also marketed by our community channel Total Blue Sky via blog
posts, white papers, case studies and event content
We placed a total of 17 print ads about the event in aviation related trade
publications to publicise the event
The event was listed on over 24 carefully selected event and trade related
portals
A dedicated search re-marketing campaign was carried out via google display
networks, youtube, facebook and linkedin
The website attracted a total of 177,000 sessions with over 362,688 page
views
