Approved training under the Post-9/11 GI Bill TTC’s Division of Continuing Education and Economic Development offers approved training under the Post 9/11 GI Bill, including: A+ and Network+ Certification: Major computer hardware and software vendors, distributors, resellers and publications back this type of program that certifies the competency of computer service technicians. Certified Nurse Aide (CNA): CNAs monitor and record vital signs and perform personal care skills; assist with meals; transfers; linen changes; room organization; and safety issues following facility policies. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA): Learn the fundamentals of building a network and operating system, Ethernet basics, protocols, as well as remote connectivity, interconnectivity among networks, protecting your network, support and more. Emergency Medical Technician (EMT): Receive training in how to provide emergency care to the critically injured at an emergency scene and/or en route to a medical facility and determine pre-existing medical problems. The Post-9/11 GI Bill provides financial support for education and housing to individuals with at least 90 days of aggregate service after Sept. 10, 2001 or individuals discharged with a service-connected disability after 30 days. You must have received an honorable discharge to be eligible for the Post-9/11 GI Bill. Visit www.gibill.va.gov to apply for your VA benefits.
