Possessive Adjectives (before the noun)

Since they are adjectives, they agree in number and gender (only with our). The change is with the nouns they modify, not with the person(s) who own or possess the object.

pronouns, use the long form of possessive adjectives proceded by the definite article.
• Both the article and the possessive must agree in number and gender with the noun they replace.

Possessive pronouns are the words which replace nouns modified by possessive adjectives. In Spanish there are different forms of possessive pronouns depending on whether the noun is masculine or feminine, singular or plural.
