Achieved Results

• Simplify the way to identify the user (avoid typewriter insertion)

• A unique Application Interface to the user for all services

• Privacy and security and error avoidance

Challenges

• CIE is the unique real reference to identify the citizen

• Necessity of a low level of learning to use services. PC use requires a higher level of knowledge so that stb must solve the problem to simplify access to the services.

• Smart card reader on pc : requires installation in various environments , this limits use of CIE for identification

• CIE killer application is not one or two particular services but is the SEMPLIFICATON TO ACCESS SERVICES only INSERTING THE CARD

Problems issued

• STB DTT is the simplified equipment for user interface

• MHP as unique backplane for all Applications development e user interface

• CIE as the unique authentication and identification system

• KISS ( Keep It Simple and Stupid) use: insert CIE and Choose service .

Check right working STBs and of agenda of any user for on time medicine . Guarantees alarm

intervention via return channel.

DTT Network update all user agenda via carousel o dial , send multicast traffic on

broadcast network identifying user via mac address and , in future CIE.
