Photography. A sense, a passion, a huge love for progress, for learning, for showing. Photography is a lot more than a hobby or a means to express my self. Personally, I see in this a unique language, a torrent of expressivity that floods the mind and soul. Beyond the touchable, it is that sense when I am behind the eye piece, where I am in a small personal refuge.

Some 3 years ago, I received a Canon camera, small and useful, that opened my horizon. Later on, I waited for the proper moment to buy and fulfill a dream: DSLR. So I began in 2007 and I am still at the beginning and will be for some time, as I see it.

I intend to learn new things and improve my technique and results, yet being a photographer means a lot more. My favorite topic is the human being, I guess. I also love the street, the architecture, the lines, the symmetries, the concepts. I could get lost on the streets, watching people and compositions for hours.

I love doing portraits and indeed, in the little time I did this, I realized how difficult and interesting is working with people, with their shyness and expectations, as well as with their personality.

Fotografia. Un simţ, o pasiune, o dragoste mare şi o dorinţă incredibilă, de a progresa, de a învăţa, de a arăta. Fotografia e mai mult decat un hobby sau un mod de exprimare pentru mine. Personal, văd în asta un limbaj unic, un torent de expresivitate care întotdeauna inundă mintea şi sufletul. Dincolo de lucrurile palpabile, e acel simţ când sunt în acel loc, în spatele “eye-piece-ului” şi când mă aflu într-un mic refugiu personal.

În urmă cu 3 ani am primit un aparat Canon, mic şi util, care mi-a deschis orizontul. Ulterior am aşteptat momentul în care voi reuşi să îmi cumpăr şi în acelaşi timp să îmi împlinesc un vis : DSLR. Atunci am început, în 2007, şi încă sunt la început şi voi fi pentru mult timp, consider eu.

Doresc să învăţ mereu lucruri noi şi să îmi îmbunătăţesc tehnica şi rezultatele, dar a fi fotograf înseamnă infinit mai mult. Cred că subiectul meu preferat îl reprezintă omul, individual, iubesc enorm strada, arhitectura, liniile, simetriile, conceptele. Aş putea să mă pierd pe străzi, urmărind oameni şi compoziţii ore întregi.

Îmi face plăcere să realizez portrete, şi într-adevăr, în puţinul timp în care am făcut asta, mi-am dat seama cât de dificil şi in acelaşi timp interesant este să lucrezi cu oamenii, cu timiditatea şi aşteptările, precum şi personalitatea lor.
