Our Car Sales and Donations Ministrysupports the Mission—proceeds ofeveryvehiclesoldgotowardcostsofourOutreachandRecoveryMinistries.

Beyond finances, recovery residentswork at these sites to sharpen theirskills and develop work habits they’lluse in the real world. And marketingefforts go far to spotlight the needsofhomelessmen, womenandchildreninourcommunity.

But there’s another important aspectto this ministry. Every day, recoveryresidents and staff who work atour vehicle sites interact with and

serve the people of Portland and thesurrounding communities. They buildrelationships and trust. Both donors andbuyers come to recognize the Mission’sCar Sales and Donations Ministry sitesas places where trust and dignity leadevery interaction. We take pride in that, andourcustomersbenefit.

Vehicle donors receive maximumtax deductions, and proceeds stay inPortlandandgostraighttotheMission.Every vehicle we sell has been safety-checked. And each sale is completedwiththesamededicationtointegritybyour staff that we teach to our recoveryresidentseveryday.
