    This end of the line sports a lot of the city's architecture from the early 1900s. Long a favorite part of town, in the 1990s Northwe

    the happenin' place to be (the Pearl District of its day) attracting hip retail stores and fashionable singles, who lived not in luxury

    Thank you so much for including the Gerding Theater at the Armory in this photo essay! Just a

    small note that the Armory is on the National Registry of Historical Places, so no architecturaltouches that would be seen from the streetcar could be made.
