In times of creative industries more and more people work as freelancers of In small enterprises. In creative industries longterm contracts are absent. The new working conditions need a new organisation of office space and the adjacent environment: work-ing units that can be rented for only short periods, meetings points for networking, spaces for exhibitions and cafés open to all

passers by are essential for the new concept of offices. The Co-Working-Centre blends perfectly into the adjacent urban fabric. By creating new courtyards for outside actions a con-nection between the main road and the river is created, as well as access to the currently blocked riverbed. The configuration of the inner structure of the building is created to support communication between creative enterprises and visitors. Consequently, the outside is designed according to these demands, too: the big open community spaces, places to talk, educate, chill out and relax and communication between outside and inside are the elements used here. Office spaces are flexible to use, from a single

person to a small enterprise.

A Guesthouse for Syracusa - Sicily, Italia

This guesthouse for shorttime guests in the port of Syracusa on Sicily, situated close to the old part Ortigia, defines a new gateway to the city. The tower is adjusted to the surrounding by the used material, namely concrete tinted in shades of sandstone. Its expressive design is meant to be open towards the city and provides a scenic view of the port. The guest rooms have an explicit furniture that are in contrast to the irregular and wide corridors. The layout

of the latter is designed to provide new experiences for visitors with wide horizontal and vertical views.

At the old fair ground in Stuttgart a new high class, but dense residential area should be proposed. The terraces are arranged alongside the central element of an alley. Each living unit has access to the ground floor level and an own garden. Additionally, an apartment with an east-west orientation is attached by additional floor space. Some

of the apartments are in the same house, others lie across the alley and are connected by bridges.
