I Found You (2014) Duration: 10 mins
Concept and Direction
The story is based on the urge of a guy to find out the girl who often comes to
his dreams. One fine afternoon he notices the
shadow of the girl and he finds out that the
girl is all he is thinking all day-night.

…Eversince he came across the shadow, the
girl started appearing in his dreams with and
leaves the indications that she is just around
and eagerly waiting to be found.
The story ends when the guy really
finds him and we find him leaving the
frame without even looking at girl
and with the smile of content on his
face that he really found him.
Mystery yet lays in the story to how
does it really matters if he finds someone and not even bothered to keep her with
him.
From Director’s point of view, it was my self-experiment to know how well it’s
possible to express with visuals without
even narrating the story. The bigger
struggle was to leave the ending of the
film on audience to decide whether it
served the purpose of making or not.

Sleeping Alives (2014) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mbep60craNQ
Duration: 03:36 mins

Three randomly different plots tell the whole
story in this film. The first shows some
nonsense activities of two vagabonds trying to
follow one another and that on simply tying
their shoe laces. With the silent comedy they
show how we can adore the similarities
between us than to possess vanity over that.

Second story shows two lady with
opposite complexions wearing two
different colours representing the
opposites and ups and downs of our
lives. The way they were enjoying their
togetherness it depicts that differences
are meant to be respected not to be
hating around! Differences merely fight
each other. What they do is complement
one another in any point when they have
to move parallel.
The third story ends with an enigma when we see
some people playing chess. Director’s aim was to
establish story with visuals which hopefully reflected
some self realisations she possessed. Yet the main
vision was to promote the beauty of nature.

These Regular Us (2013)

Director, Writer, Editor
The story starts with a girl using social media when suddenly some friends she
doesn’t like knocks her and from expression we
can see that she isn’t really happy to get the
text. Yet with texts she expresses that she
enjoys his company.
In the whole
story we try to
find out about
some murder.
And in between
we see how people behind the screen became so used to writing anything
without even meaning anything. Internet is bliss or a curse? Whom to decide?

The Chittagong Hill
Tracts, in the south east of Bangladesh is defined by its own topography and
unique history. The region has been home to different ethnic communities who
differ from the Bengalis living in the plains. For centuries, these ethnic
communities have managed to maintain their culture. This documentary features
the women of Lama and Alikadam sub-districts of Bandarban.
This documentary has been developed in the
framework of the partnership between
AIDA, TARANGO, ULAB's Center for
Sustainable Development (CSD) and ULAB's
Media Studies and Journalism Dept., as part
of the "Strengthening Ethnic Women Rights
(SEWR)" project.

Dacca to Dhaka (2012)

Assistant Director, Script and Concept
Dhaka – some say the city of mosque, some say the rickshaw capital. With the
400 years of glory, once it was named ‘Jahangir Nagar’. Later it was transformed
into Dhaka.
Some believe that, the name
Dhaka came after the name of
Dhakeswari temple, some came up
with different stories. But whatever it
is, we have our city Dhaka; our
historical city – Dhaka.
Time went by and the area of
the city kept on growing on that
ration. One day it got the honour of
becoming a capital.
We aimed at taking our audience at a
quick tour of Dhaka city. A quick tour
from past to present. A quick tour
from –
“Dacca to Dhaka”
…The city grows up with us too
We never cared to know its story..!
