• Corporate Identity for a psychiatric and neurological surgery in Saarbrücken

• The idea of this corporate identity is based on the careful consideration of questionnaires which Parkinson-suffering persons must fill out. Among other things, the patients must draw a spiral to test their coordination abilities.

• The left part of the logo symbolises an affliction, the right one the healing process provided from the surgery “Bahnhofstrasse 36” .

• Rosvuzdizayn - glass gallery. The company produces art glass in Russia. In the logo was used the metaphor of the severity of the golden section and fluidity of the glass.

• Corporate identity for printing center.

• Name «Mare Altum» translated from Latin, like the sea without borders. The corporate style was based on the metaphor: the rolling, like cheese in butter, working without angles. All documents should have been cut corners in order to emphasize the idea.

• Pre-diploma work at the University of Art and Design, Saarbrücken, Germany

• mathyou is a web based teaching software, which helps high-school graduates to make a personalized exercise book. Only the topics are included that are relevant for the pupil.

• The basic idea of this work is a “mikado” game. The user must solve the excises and the mathematics formulas will disappear. The user continues until the last mathematic formula stays.

Interfaces and interaction


• Enhancement of the //SMARTWEB search engine in cooperation with the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI, www.dfki.de)

• SMARTWEB and Semantic Web

• Questions at the Semantic Web can be asked in spoken language with devices such as smartphones and PDAs.

• Inputs at the Semantic Web can be inserted like in a dialogue only assisted by touching the screen. Theses Inputs initiate an intelligent Semantic Web search. Results are presented in natural language accompanied by images, videos, text and other media. The user can navigate through the result in an intuitive way.

• SmartWeb technologies accessing the Semantic Web combine access services to ontological knowledge servers, multimodal question answering, web services and agent-based information extraction.

• I have recognized that the thumb plays a significant role in modern society - becoming humans dominant haptic interactor.

• This development should be reflected in the interface design for future (mobile) devices

• Graphic Interface Solution for Universal Remote Console

• The scope of I2HOME is the intuitive interaction for everyone with home appliances based on industry standards. In this way I2HOME will make devices and appliances at home more accessible to persons with mild cognitive disabilities and older persons, using a new mainstream user interface standard — the Universal Remote Console (URC) standard.

• Although focusing on the needs of these specific user groups, the results to be achieved are applicable in the much wider context spread out by topics like Home Automation, Intelligent Environments and Ambience, Intelligent Environments the Automobiles, and a series of others.

• Hence, the project can provide the technological basis for quite many applications that can be derived from the very flexible concept on which the project bases - the Universal Remote Console.

• The approach of I2HOME can be considered in line with the vision of ambient intelligence and therefore contributes to the opportunity for Europe to reposition itself for the next generation of generic products and services building on a large user industry and service providers. www.I2Home.org
