PORTFOLIO Kyle Cornell McGee 3A

broadI’ve always been a big writer. When I was a kid I would write really awful adventure and fantasy stories. I also kept a journal for almost ten years: fourth through eleventh grade. An excerpt of it can be read here. As I’ve gotten more involved with theatre, my aspirations of being an author have stopped and my love of writing has dwindled a bit, but I still continue to grow in my writing abilities. I used to write as if I was talking; all of my stories were written like dialogue. As I’ve gotten older I think that I write more precisely and technically now. My ideas aren’t as spastic anymore.

be a film actor, buy a man bag, overcome my anxiety, make an impact on life, live in Europe (preferably England) dance at a techno dance club, pierce my lip, dye my hair, do something out of character and spontaneous, live in a loft in New York City, have washboard abs, win an Academy Award, gain self-confidence, get in a fist fight and win, stop hiding my true self, go to college, backpack through New Zealand, participate in a protest/march, learn everything there is to know about everything
