DESCRIPTION
The primary goal was to create a backdrop which would enhance the clients extensive art collection and maintain an inviting space for their whole family. We wanted to infuse this space with soothing tones of blues and greens as well as natural materials of walnut wood cabinets and maple wood floors. The use of natural granite and limestone surfaces help create a modern sensibility which juxtaposes the soft, elegant textiles on the furniture and the wool and silk carpets. The kitchen family room remains the heart of the home but has been elevated to a more sophisticated and tailored esthetic which allows for the family to entertain or relax while still highlighting the extensive art collection.TRANSCRIPT
