PRESENTATIONMy interest in architecture became more clear and objective after a trip i took to New York in 2001. Two years later, I began to deepen thisinterest in architecture by joining the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto. During the academic training in architecture i manage tokeep my military profession in the Portuguese Army, which led me to a demanding and extreme dedication state (that still characterize me) withthe aim of achieving excellence in both activities. In 2008, motivated by the ambition to expand and enrich my academic training I went tostudy under the Erasmus Programme to the School of Architecture of Barcelona. From that experience resulted in a greater openness andflexibility in the understanding of - architecture as a discipline - granted until that time by a previous education training in the "Oporto School".After my Master's Thesis dissertation "Color in architecture of ´Oporto School`" - directed by the Architect Manuel Graça Dias, i had my firstprofessional collaboration with the Atelier Balthazar Aroso Architects, Lda. This opportunity of high value as well as the others i had previouslyallied to my perseverance and interest in learning (that defines me as a person) were crucial and decisive in the consolidation of a "architecturalcharacter".
