GeneralThe site is located in Zhuhai, a newly developed garden-style seaside resort city. It is blessed with beautiful natural environment and is affectionately known as the City of a Hundred Islands. The planning site -- Hengshan Island is one of them.The main purpose of the planning is to set up an unique urban island with sustainable growth mode.Land Availability--The site is reclaimed for two times larger than original island.-- A new-built bridge connects the island with the mainland.Key Points--Emphasize Zhuhai's urban zone a.Muti-functional development, creating diversified life styles. b.Emphasize public seaside promenade. c.Rational zoning,creating various environmental experiences.--Emphasize Hengshan Island's natural character a. Respect and enhance the visibility and accessibility of the hill. b. Rational allocation of coastline resources. c. Diversity of coastline designs and rich waterfront experiences. d. Emphasize the public space and landscape penetration.

GeneralChengdu City, the capital city of Sichuan province in China, is famous for its creative and entertainment industry. The site is in Xindu New District which is one of satellite cities of Chengdu City. The main purpose of this project is to develop a new field of cultural and creative industry.

Key Points--Identify & highlight site character & culture a.Respect the site current situation b.Add new culture of music and related creative industry, experiencing commerce entertainment.--Provide public plazas & parks Define a diagonal axis to link the metro station and the characteristic city spatial axis, and the culture center to the east. --Cluster development Easier for phasing development.

Up to 2012, the added value of the tertiary industry will be an important part of the city's GDP.3. People have enough economic capability for entertainment and creative industries are in large demand.

GeneralThe site is located in Hangzhou City. The "Grand Canal" is "World Cultural Heritages" and plays a significant role in the economic and cultural development from ancient time. The site was developed along the "Grand Canal" thousands of years ago, but the living environment was disrupted during Industry Revolution in modern time. The main purpose of this project is to redevelop the site properly.

Key Points--Emphasize the inheritance of "Canal Culture" and environment restoration a. Renovate and protect the ancient residence. b. Reuse the abandoned industrical buildings and structures. c. Creating experience centers to enhance people's awearness of culture and history.--Catalyst the economic development and region's dynamic a. The main purpose is to create a high-grade residencial area with good living environment using sustainable planning methods.
