Concept of solutionThe value of the house is in its position above the town and nice views to the Prague basin. The house has been damaged by previous modifications and in the current changes these interventions are to be reviewed and returned to the house character.Based on the restoration survey it is designed to return to the original dark color, it is also proposed to replace plastic windows and fitt quality joinery with original profiling.Quality contemporary living in a desired range can not be made in the amount of current roof - superstructure is designed.Nowadays there is attic living on two levels (3rd and 4th floor), this will be retained and will be enabled access to the roof, where will be the observation deck.Ground plan of the superstructure has a terraced character and connects to the surrounding buildings.

The study addresses the interconnection of the garage and house, which is to include a separate dwelling unit. The newly created housing unit should have universal features. In the foreseeable future is meant to serve as parents housing, in the longer term, it is envisaged that it could take teenagers.Underground object is only visible from the west side. With the new building had to be designed retaining wall and a new staircase with a steep slope.Furthermore there was solution of continuity to existing garage and visual unification connection. That was attained by removing the metal railings in the attic and lift attics to the desired level.Western wall has window in front of atrium, which is provided with a lamella overlap, which increases the intimacy of the interior space towards the passing persons.Underground space is, exept for a patio, lit by large skylights that illuminate the bathroom and adjacent warehouse on the east side.

Construction of shipyard Troja is near present-day boating channel. The purpose of shipyard Troja include ensuring the necessary infrastructure and capacity for both professional and recreational sports activities arising from the neighboring construction project Park of water sports. Both projects, the shipyard Troja Park and park of water sports are complementary and implementation dependent. Today, in the active flood zone, there are scattered food stalls, module buildings and temporary structures used as a warehouse for ships, which will have to give way to the construction of water slalom course in the park of water sports. All these capacities will be concentrated into an object of shipyard Troja, which will be placed outside the active flood zone and its structural design eliminates the risk of a flood.Shipyard Troja will allow boat storage, will operate rental bikes and other sports equipment and will provide snacks and restrooms for visitors.

Mixed used area, where a gated community (Silvertree Estate, private development) and a poor village (Westlake Village, built by the same developers) substituted an informal settlement, and now coexist within a spatial proximity of 500 meters. The gated community, with its electrified walls and accesses controlled by gatehouse, is a part of the city completely forbidden for those citizens who do not live there or are not invited. A part of the city strictly separated from its urban context.

We propose urban forms/structure/objects which, on the one side, strengthen the informal settlements and, on the other side, open up the fence for new urban conditions.

FUNCTIONS OF NEW BUILDINGS

Our builnig breaks the border between the rich and poor part of Westlake. We are creating a free space for new relationships - the market place under the roof and between the two parts of the buildnig. The roof of the building angles to geound level creating a large plaza inviting pedestrians to walk up and enjoy the panoramic views. It can be also use like an amphiteatre.

• market place• turistic centre• central station: bus, car parking, bicycle rent • cultural centre

• medium size buildings which provide public services for Westlake favelas

• serve like local centre - satisfying specific needs in different parts of favelas

• there are atriums with trees inside the buildings• accessible roof is a great occasion for people to

meet and spend their time together

• benches are spread all over the favelas• stand for bicycles• water fountain• wifi spot• garbage bins

WESTERN CITYThe main theme of our design is the interface landscapes and cities, finding their relationship and contexts.By locating existing centers and restoring historic features occurs crossing paths and creating potential outbreaks of a new territory. The territory has an excellent transport infrastructure and is located in an attractive location surrounded by nature.

NATURE

In the solution of Western city we are dealing with the landscape, which is an integral part of the treated area. We see the great potential for improving the quality of life in the locality. We use diversity of landscape in our design. We strive to connect different types of landscape - the urban landscape, rural and country on the periphery, which then passes into the CHKO Czech Kras. Our design aims to connect these parts while respecting their diverse character. In the settlement landscape we design promenade for residents.Bicycle paths, trails, sidewalks, parks, sports activities and promenade itself eventually turns into a peripheral landscape. At the boundary between city and countryside we design an orchard, and we make the transition from the city to the countryside. We decided to restore historic trails and on their crossing put small elements of architecture, signage, furniture and prospects. The design takes into account current and presumed wildlife corridors linking natural units. On the edge of a newly designed buildings we create an imaginary green border, which clearly define the interface towns and landscapes and even assuming the later expansion of the built leaves a trace.

REVITALIZATION OF THE HOUSING ESTATEThe main point in the revitalization of the settlement is to improve the space around the prefabricated houses.Another prerequisite for improving estates is rebuilding and modernizing the buildings themselves. We put there promenade connecting the city with the open landscape. The promenade offers various kinds of leisure activities. For example, bicycle paths, trails, playgrounds, skate parks or playgrounds for badminton and beach volleyball. We want to sweeten and improve life on the estate. In revitalization of prefabricated houses we were inspired by successful foreign projects such as restoration of settlement Bijlmermeer in Amsterdam, Gifu Kitagata Apartement building in Japan-SannaIzosaki or Tour Bois-le-Prêtre in Paris-Druot.Due to the different conditions in foreign settlements, it is not possible for us to apply these models identically, but it is possible to adapt to czech ratios. The final element of our design is hierarchy of the open space and introduced the human scale. We earmark private spaces used for residents of houses and public spaces. Private spaces can be used for example, as community gardens, which are very popular.People can identify more with the space in which they live.

The project of new Refuge de la Pilatte at the foot of Glacier de la Pilatte is located in the national park des Écrins in France at 2350 meters above sea level. The Refuge is located on a rock outcropping, where it is protected from avalanches but it is also exposed to a sunbeams. Its position creates noticeable spot, that motivates incoming visitors and welcomes descending climbers. The contens of the house is quite simple, it is a typical chalet, rustic and rough same as mountains and nature around. Main entrance is in the gable next to the path, where are incomers protected from falling snow.In summer it is possible to use southern entrance from sunny terrace straight to the main hall.Internal arrangement meets the stringent requirements of the alpine club CAF. Capacity is 70 beds.Steep, 45 degree roof facing southeast is ideal for placing solar panels. Solar photovoltaic panels generates eletricity, which is than stored in batteries and solar thermal panels heat the water tank. The common room is heated directly by the stove on pellets. Refuge is a wooden structure with corrugated sheet metal cladding.

The cable car station in Lans-en-Vercors and the concept of the surrounding neighborhood is part of the French Mountain Village project in the era of „Post Carbon“.The village of Lans-en Vercors is located on a plateau above Grenoble at an altitude of 1012 meters above sea level. In line with the idea of sustainable development, project of cable car arises here that would ensure easy access between the city and the valley of almost 1,000 higher-located villages on the Plateau du Vercors. The whole design is situated on the outskirts of the village, near the main road and at the beginning of the village axis extending through the historic core.Lift station and the surrounding neighborhood creates a new center with headquarters building of the Parc Naturel régional du Vercors, bus station, shopping center, public park and residential area, connecting on existing buildings. Our main aim was to deal with an entirely different scale of proposed buildings over traditional village houses and sensitive entry into the wonderful landscape park Vercors.

Our design tried to keep original scale of the stadium, to merge it with surrounding buildings, to meet capacity demands and also meet requirements for football stadium category 4.Part of the study is also adjacent area on the other side of the Botic creek, which with stadium will create one complex. Sustainability of the Dolicek can be attained by adequate capacity of tribune (8200 spectators) and with mobile tribune on the north.Mobile tribune enables variability of auditorium and field. By moving it, there is possibility of creating smaller play field for tennis, basketball, volleyball, beach volleyball or for events such as concerts or theatre. In the parterre of the stadium we placed a restaurant, shops and fanshop, all accessible from Vrsovicka street and from right bank of the Botic creek.Part of the design are three floors of underground garages, which will be open not only during football matches. At the top of those garages, there is sports areal with restaurant containing two tennis courts, two volleyball courts and boat, rollerskates and bike rental. The sports areal and the stadium are connected by a park, Botic creek dominates there. Around the creek there would be walking paths with places to relax.

The task of this project was to design sports hall with capacity about 1500 spectators between streets Evropska and Liberijska in Prague.Given land is quite steep so my main thought was a diamond thrown to the slope. That is why hall has its chamfered shape and it is built-in into the terrain.Hall has two entrances, one from Evropska for spectators and the second one from Kladenska street is for athletes.Part of the design is drive through parking lot connecting Evropska and Kladenska streets and surrounding park changes, which are completing looks and feels of the hall.
