29-06-2012. CAREER IN TOURISM AND ECOTOURISM

INTRODUCTION

Tourism is an instrument of foreign exchange generator generates a diversified job market

with a relatively low investment remain favorable and above all develop local economic

activities. Tourism is a means of social exchange, as it shows that the company actually

develops more active toward understanding are trained to adapt their usual means, judging in

a positive way his own society.

Ecotourism is geared to tourism in natural areas little affected and great scenic beauty and

cultural wealth. This activity involves visiting natural sites rarely intervened in order to know

the main characteristics of their ecosystems and cultural traits of the people who inhabit

them.

BODY OR MAIN PART

To begin with the career is the study of tourism, how to deal with visitors, how to organize

outings or travel routes, how to carry out the recreational and educational groups to manage.

Course includes a study of languages, general knowledge on geographic regions, history and

cultures. Apart from this it's a fascinating career includes matters of tourism, transportation,

lodging, trade, food and beverage, wine (wine) among others. In second instance, are trained

to manage a tourism venture, how is assembled, how to manage financially, etc.

In addition the applicant for this race should be a person interested in the development and

Also a professional can work as tourist guide and travel outlets, as an administrator or

manager of tourism entities, or political positions related to the field. Ecotourism

professionals possess the skills to design ecotourism products at all stages, coordinating

transportation, food, shelter and most importantly, the activities to be conducted in the

places visited during the execution of the circuit.

CONCLUSION.

Personally, I believe the knowledge gained allows us to get on in any field of work in tourism

as airlines, travel agencies and tour operations, accommodation establishments, restaurants,

transportation companies, land and sea, organization of events, education and tourism

research, museums and government offices.

From my point of view the opportunities offered by the Ecuadorian tourist market (hotels,

airlines, travel agencies, events) and the requirements they have with respect to human

resources they need to hire (technical skills, abilities, languages).

English Homework (TASK 2: RESEARCH ABOUT PASSIVE VOCIE)

Nathaly Revelo 11-07-2012.

PASSIVE VOCIE

Use of Passive

Passive voice is used when the focus is on the action. It is not important or not known,

however, who or what is performing the action.

Form of Passive

Subject + finite form of to be + Past Participle (3rd column of irregular verbs)

When rewriting active sentences in passive voice, note the following:

the object of the active sentence becomes the subject of the passive sentence

the finite form of the verb is changed (to be + past participle)

the subject of the active sentence becomes the object of the passive sentence (or is

dropped)

Personal Passive simply means that the object of the active sentence becomes the subject of

the passive sentence. So every verb that needs an object (transitive verb) can form a personal

passive.

Impersonal Passive is not as common in English as in some other languages (e.g. German,

Latin). In English, Impersonal Passive is only possible with verbs of perception (e. g. say, think,

know).

STRUCTURE

Verb Tense Structure Example

PRESENT SIMPLE am/are/is + pp Spanishisspokenhere.

PRESENT CONTINUOUS

am/are/is being + pp Your questions are being answered.

FUTURE (WILL) will be + pp It’ll be painted by next week.

FUTURE (GOING TO)

am/are/is going to be + pp

Terry is going to be made redundant next year.

PAST SIMPLE was/were + pp We were invited to the party, but we didn’t go.

PAST CONTINUOUS was/werebeing + pp The hotel room was being cleaned when we got back from shopping.

PRESENT PERFECT have/has been + pp The President of America has been shot.

PAST PERFECT hadbeen + pp When he got home he found that all of his money had been stolen.

FUTURE PERFECT willhavebeen + pp Our baby will have been born before Christmas.

The passive forms of a verb are created by combining a form of the "to be verb" with the past

participle of the main verb. Other helping verbs are also sometimes present: "The measure

could have been killed in committee." The passive can be used, also, in various tenses. Let's

take a look at the passive forms of "design."
