Featuring the project site located in low elevation areas with canals interwoven, a problem arises when the levee system was replaced by Keo sewer system, the project area will be flooded flood.To cope with this scenario, the proposed design schemes to mine central reservoir for utilizing landscape, a place to store water as needed and get 70% supply demand leveling spot.In addition, some wetlands are preserved intact and proposed building on pilesto create attractive landscapes and diversified in forms.

Covering 500 ha, this was the biggest challenge for me to create project’s concept. I was confused in starting. After time worked with my leader and clientto consolidate a vision and get support from them, i did it with satisfying result.

The plan concept proposed eco-park along the river with promenades are made from environmentally friendly materials,Addition site amenities to serve the community as a restaurant, spa, gym ... and especially the tourist port, plaza - where recognizable by water moving over the Saigon River. The existing channels are cleared flows, support for drainage and create landscaping.

This was an unforgettable experience of mine when I was a member of team for participation in an international planning competition. We have worked very hard, overcome obstacles of distance (Team leader in abroad) through ways such as email, skype, google ... Thus, I have gained knowledge and approach to a large-scale project.Finally, the project was one of 3 final winners (no 1st prize)

My role was to propose urban design based on the overall analysis, proviced transport-oriented drawings and illustrated master plan, spatial orented sections , perspective drawings by hand-sketching.

With 283 ha scale, the project was expected to attract 4 to 5 different investors participated in the development. Therefore, the subdivision should ensure competition and differences in each area besides achieving the common goal of developing project.The zones were classified in order to attract investment must be surrounded by natural landscape and the distribution of amenities within the radius should walk (400m).

This was the first project I participated in as Urban planner after graduation when i was in probationary period. I have been assigned to perform master plan drawings and leader who encouraged me to made them by hand sketching which I had never done before. After that, I had done the master plan with the satisfaction of both. And that marked milestones in my career after I had recognized my strengths.

I provided landscape drawings, calculation of land use, presentation on Power Point and regulation for project management.

Green trees are planted as high density of at least 100 m thickness to limit the negative impacts of Southeast wind blowing from the South industrial park.

Corridor of high voltage can be used as the boundary

With 250 hectares scale, the site located with the advantage of beautiful river views from natural ecosystems of 3 rivers (Dong Nai River, Nuoc Trong River and Dong Mon River) and convenient for approaching transport facilities from center of Ho Chi Minh Chinh City through Long Thanh expressways(nearly 30km from SaiGon center to the site). The project is expected to bean attractive destination to serve living demands for recreation, leisure and tourist resort, residents from Ho Chi Minh City and its vicinity.

This is one of the most challenging project for me to propose the model of tourisminvestment attraction. I had many times working with leaders to develop project’s strategic plans and presentations with clients. After 3 of time for meeting to get statements and opinions acquisition, we have achieved the unity of vision and strategic planning project.
