Established the clinical advantage of a new class of radiation sensor, in an

NIH-funded, interdisciplinary project.

Guided cross-functional team members regarding living tissue, cancer

treatment using radiation, and conducting work in given clinics.

Configured and operated linear accelerators and a Gamma Knife.

Introduced a test jig with a phantom that replicates in-vivo, radiation dose

build-up. Designed in 3D, using AutoCAD, and arranged for fabrication.

Wrote the initial LabVIEW VIs and demonstrated control and recording.

Co-authored two pairs of papers, presented at conferences or published.

Proposed details for RF locating and polling of multiple sensors. Returned to full-time

study in 2007.
