Easily Adjust Goal Height Anywhere from 7’ to 10’

Massive support system with anchor bolt mounting consists of heavy-wall square structural tube with a heavy, gusseted mounting plate for anchoring into concrete footing with four plated steel anchor bolts. Anchor bolt mounting provides ease of installation and precise plumb-ing of support system and backboard. Installation template is provided.

Glass backboard has a weather resistant, powder-coated, unitized steel rear support structure and is fi tted in an aluminum frame. Offi cial white perimeter and target area markings are silk screened on the backside to prevent wear. Steel tubular backboard support frame and heavy glass face combine to provide superior ball rebound. Goal mounting bolts secure to rear steel framework eliminating undue strain on the backboard. The Powr-Flex® goal is a moveable rim that protects players and equipment during slam-dunk maneuvers and has a concealed shock absorber.

Optional pole and bottom edge backboard padding are highly recom-mended for player protection. Upright padding is 6’ high and is fur-nished in closed cell foam with a durable, black reinforced vinyl cover with hook and loop closure.

Accurately Measure Rebound Performance

Rim testing is essential in order to begin solving the problem of inconsistent rebound performance found in inferior or worn equipment, to minimize the home court advantage and to improve the integrity of the game of basketball.

Unit reads the velocity at which the testing weight rebounds from a precision compression spring concealed within the housing. To meet NCAA recommendations the readout must be between .350 and .500 for the rim, backboard and support structure to qualify for competition.

The Fair-Court® system is furnished complete in a compact carrying case to properly transport and store the entire unit. Unit breaks down easily into three sections for compact storage. Designed for strength and ease of set-up at a competitive price, Porter’s Powr-Rib® II volleyball system has all the features you need to play competition volleyball.

This newly re-designed volleyball post is constructed of high strength, lightweight aluminum extrusion which reduces weight for installation ease. Two reinforcing ribs are centered throughout the entire length of the post for added system strength. Top and bottom of posts are fi tted with custom molded caps to protect fi nished fl oors.

A built-in channel which runs the length of the post allows the collar to slide up and down the post easily, allowing infi nite height settings for multi-sport applications. Lock the collar in place in seconds with our exclusive pressure lock T-handle. Quick release tension strap eliminates the need for the cable to wrap on the winch drum which prevents cable kinking and fraying. Available with optional center post for unlimited multi-court layouts.

Functional multi-use system provides height adjustment settings and visual labels for men’s, women’s and junior USVBA competi-tion height settings. The Powr-Winch® is located on the post at a height for use with tennis nets.

The Porter Powr-Rib® II system is available with accessories such as protective padding and judge’s stand (No. 00889-100) which meet the latest specifi ed requirements for competition.

This kit provides easy access to the base of a football goal which allows for easy installation, adjustment, or removal. Field Accessories

FENCE PADDINGKits are designed to pad the top rail and posts of woven wire type fencing,

helping to minimize injuries to players during baseball, football, soccer or any

other type of outdoor activity. For added safety, pads are furnished in a highly

visible safety-yellow color.

All pads consist of shock absorbing, closed cell weather resistant polyethylene

foam and a polyester reinforced cover with grommets and durable nylon,

self-locking type wire ties.

The top fence rail protective padding kit is designed to pad 20’ of the top rail

pipe. The foam is provided in slit sections of 3-1/2” O.D. x 2” I.D. The cover

is one 20’ section, which may be easily cut to provide custom lengths when

required. The fence post pads are furnished in 4’, 5’ and 6’ lengths.

Field Padding and Screens

TENNIS WIND SCREENSPorter windscreens provide an approximate 80% windbreak capability. They also

provide a dark background for improved ball visibility and lessen distractions

from the landscape outside the playing area. They are built to custom lengths

and are either 6’ or 9’ high. They are constructed of top quality 9-10 oz. per sq.

yd. vinyl coated polyester open mesh fabric. Standard colors include green, dark

green and black. Additional colors can be special ordered.

The perimeter edge of each windscreen has a reinforced hem. Solid brass

grommets are installed every 18” around the perimeter. The 9’ high screens

have a special center fl ap with grommets that attach it to the fence to reduce

billowing on windy days. Crescent or rectangular shaped vents can also be

custom installed every 10’ to reduce billowing.

BACKSTOP AND FIELD WALL PROTECTIVE PADDING - SEWNAdditional player protection is a must on chain-link backstops, fences or other

areas where there is potential for injury. Interior of panel has a 3” thick high-

density polyurethane foam core. Padding is covered in a durable, UV resistant,

16/17-oz. vinyl coated polyester material to provide maximum protection

against tears, abrasions or damage from water or mildew. Panels are furnished

with a 1-1/2” wide grommet fl ap top and bottom. Grommets are spaced on

approximately 9” centers for securing to chain link fences or walls with wire

ties or other hardware furnished by the installer. Panels are standard in 4’

widths and are available in custom heights (maximum 8’). Pads are available in a

selection of colors as shown below.

FIELD WALL PROTECTIVE PADDING - RIGID BACKEDProtective padding provides extra player protection on outdoor concrete or

wooden walls in baseball or football stadiums. Panels are fabricated with 3/4” thick, sealed, weather resistant plywood. For seasonal removal or repair,

panels can be installed to walls with optional, extruded aluminum “Z” type clips.

The “Z” clip attachment system provides a smooth and neat appearance and

allows worn or vandalized pads to be removed for repair or replacement by

simply lifting the panel upward. The rigid backed protective padding is furnished

in the same inner foam and vinyl cover as the sewn padding (No. 90361) with

the addition of the plywood backing. Pads are available in custom sizes

(max 4’ x 8’) and in a selection of colors as shown below.

When spectator viewing space is at a minimum, the Tip & Roll seating system is a must. The indoor Tip & Roll seating system is the same construction as the outdoor seating (No. 380). We have added heavy-duty non-marking 4” diameter swivel casters to allow for ease of movement to and from indoor storage areas.

Bi-directional seating can be located between two courts, allowing spectators to view two separate events with each compact set of seat-ing. Like other Tip & Roll seating, this system can be easily transported to wherever it is needed.

Protect Floors in Multi-Use Facilities

An economical way to use your gymnasium as a multi-use facility. Protects your fl oors and helps reduce maintenance and refi nishing expenses. The Porter fl oor cover transport and storage cart provides a quick and easy method to install and remove fl oor covers over large areas, with only two people.

Simply roll the transport cart into position at one end of the fl oor and lock the casters in place. Pull the ten-foot wide sections across the fl oor and repeat for additional sections of cover as required. When removing, attach each cover section to individual storage rollers with quick and easy hook and loop attachment strips. Roll up the vinyl covers with the standard hand crank or optional power winder and you’re done. No manual lifting required. Non-marking 6” diameter swivel casters allow for complete system to roll easily across the fl oor through standard size doors for storage.

Vinyl-coated fl oor cover is a heavy-duty (20.5 oz. per sq. yd.) polyester-reinforced fabric with superior wearability. A 60/40 vinyl coating distribution provides a smooth topside wear surface and a grid underside for stability on fi nished fl oors. Vinyl has a fl ame resistance to meet NFPA 701, UL-214 and the California State Fire Marshall Requirements. Cover material has a seven-year warranty against defects in materials or workmanship.

Folding Mats

Tumbling Mats for Every Situation

Highly recommended for all physical education classes, recreation and tumbling, the 1-1/2” Polyethylene foam in Porter’s mats offers a fi rm surface without sacrifi cing protection while students perform tumbling, handstands and other maneuvers. The 2” thick mats designed for power tumblers are also manufactured using the Polyethylene foam. Porter also manufactures 2” thick mats for elementary tumbling. These mats are recommended for use where the extra softness provides comfort while satisfying the need for safety and protection. Panels are constructed using a 2” thick, 6 lb. density rebonded foam.

All mats are manufactured with inverted seams to alleviate exposed fabric ends. Panels are 2’ wide and sewn together to form the size mat needed. Hook and loop fasteners are 1-1/2” wide and applied to either ends or sides of mat as required.

FLAT MAT TRUCKS This versatile caddy is capable of moving all Porter mats

and is the ideal teacher’s aid. Constructed of an all-welded rectangular tube

frame with 5” diameter non-marking swivel casters. Front corners are padded

with heavy-duty molded rubber protectors. Trucks may be easily attached in

tandem for wrestling mats or for under stage storage.

curtains or folding partitions, there’s good news: the

Porter Indoor Ball Stop System. This economical

system is effective and affordable. Now you can

choose the number and confi guration of the

systems to accommodate your particular needs.

Each system consists of 8’ high ribbed aluminum

uprights, net tension winches, fl oor sleeves and

protective padding. Standard kits are available to

cover either the length or width of the gym so you

can confi gure your system to best fi t your needs.

Nets are attached to the posts using hook and loop

attachment straps for quick & easy set up and tear

down. Pads cover nets and tension hardware at

each post for safe play.

INDOOR CABLED TENSIONED CAGEAn ideal solution for maximizing space in

mezzanines or other gymnasium locations with low

ceiling heights. This economical cage is suspended

with a wall supported cable system that spans

horizontally wall-to-wall. Precision bearing cable

roller carrier glides allow the batting cage to be

easily extended or retracted. The cage can be used

for either batting or golf practice, and neatly store

against a wall when not in use. Cage measures 10’

high, 12’ wide, and 70’ long with 1” square mesh

netting.
