Recommend funding to establish a Chapter 353 Urban Redevelopment Corporation ($30,000); to hire a development professional staff person ($65,000 per year for 3 years) and update market study ($50,000)

Increase number of homes repaired & amount spent per home in Home Repair Program; become HUD counseling organization; expand for sale program, create affordable rental housing; pay off debt to SLCEC; create mixed office space with affordable rental units located above.
Provide funds to LHP for Home Repair Program to increase amount spent per home from $5,000 to $11,000 and increase the numbers of homes served from 12 to 30 per year ($180,000), plus fund full-time program manager ($45,000) and full-time project manager ($35,000); make Executive Director fulltime ($35,000) and provide part-time administrative assistant ($20,000); provide funding to update office equipment and technology needs ($20,000); and repay loan to SLCEC ($80,000)

As part of 150th anniversary of Civil War, tie Jefferson Barracks into existing U.S. Grant driving trail; create high quality education panels and directional signage ($10,000); establish a park-like way stop at Longwood ($89,500)
Recommend providing match funding to St. Louis County Parks funding if Parks oversees content, placement and installation of signage. $4,000
MO Civil War Museum $500,000 Complete building restoration in time for the 150th anniversary of American Civil War
Recommend providing construction funding to complete current renovation project. Award will be contingent upon museum committing to participate in a feasibility and operations study.
