These plastic markers are for the purpose of indicating parkingbays & lines within areas of the BodPave®85 cellular paving system.
The markers are designed to clip positively into the plaque shapedcells of the BodPave®85 and can be fitted in various orientations tocreate solid or dotted lines & ‘T’ or ‘L’ shapes etc for Parking BayHeads, Aisles & Junctions.
In applications where there may be potential for the markers to beforcibly removed (i.e vandalised), it may be appropriate to fix thempermanently in place by applying an appropriate proprietary highstrength plastic (HDPE) glue or an ‘outdoor frame sealant’ typematerial to the underside of the marker when fitting.
If required, the markers can be reduced in size to createsingle-cell or double-cell sized units by cutting accuratelyalong the lines between each textured square/pyramidalsection. It is recommended that these smaller sized unitsare glued in place as previously suggested in order toresist displacement.

BodPave85TYPICAL PROFILE
The unique design of BodPave®85 resists lateral movement, improves tractionand allows expansion & contraction whilst promoting optimum grassgrowth, root protection and surface stabilisation. The open cell structureprovides high surface water infiltration and is suitable for source controlwithin a SUDS profile.
BodPave®85 should be installed onto a well prepared, free draining, firmand relatively level base using either Boddingtons ‘Reduced-Dig System’ orby employing a full sub-base construction (typically a DoT Type 1 or reducedfines Type 3) incorporating a Tensar TriAx™ TX160 geogrid reinforcementlayer (see page 19). Paving grids simply connect together and are then filledwith either a sand:soil rootzone and seeded or turfed for a grass surface, orfilled with an angular aggregate for a gravel surface as determined by theapplication. Construction profiles for each application will be determinedby the specific site conditions & loading criteria. Detailed design literatureand technical support are available to download online as shown opposite.Please note : All BodPave®85 applications must be provided with sufficientand adequate drainage facilities in order to function as intended. Failureto ensure this may compromise overall performance.
