shank, weakness of the legs, systremma. 2) Mental Disorders: Manic-depressive syndrome, epilepsy, saliva regurgitation. 3) Other Diseases: Swollen and painful tongue, hernia, infantile umbilical hernia. Mechanism of Action: See Taixi (KI 3). Method: Puncture perpendicularly 1-1.5 cun. Moxibustion is applicable. Acupoint Prescriptions: 1) Vomiting and salivation: Zhubin (KI 9), Shaohai (HT 3). (Experience on Acupuncture and Moxibustion Therapy ) 2) Wagging tongue: Zhubin (KI 9) and Taiyi (ST 23). (ibid ) Regional Anatomy: Skin-subcutaneous tissue-triceps muscle of calf. In the superficial layer, there are the medial cutaneous branches of the saphenous nerve of the leg and the superficial veins. In the deep layer, there are the tibial nerve and the posterior tibial artery and vein. Remark:
