invasion of Normandy. In recognition of his bravery and achievements he was awarded a Cross of Valour three times, along with a number of British decorations. The
documentary movie is about Alex Herbst and memories of his wartime experiences and adventures. He passed away last year at age 99.

Great 2 days Camp for Irish and Polish Scouts (in age 10 -16 years). We’ll start with Family Picnic in Polish School in Galway (Holy Trinity National School, Mervue, Galway). Polish and Irish Scouts will build Scouts Village – each team will organize the place/tent
where they will present the team, their achievements and daily activities. Scouts families are also invited to participate in the picnic. Scouts teams are moving to
camping place in Renville Park, Oranmore. A lot of scout’s adventurers will wait there for the teams, including: historical game about beginning of Scouting in Poland and in
Ireland, learning Irish dance and Polish “Krakowiak” dance, Shanties’ Festival, “Goods of Nature” – workshop about herbs and other “goodies” form Irish forest. During the
camp will be served national food from both countries ie. Irish breakfast, Polish peas soup etc. Price: 20 € /pp

conceive other participants, national dance shows (prepared during joint workshops on Saturday), bonfire and marsh foams baking mallows as part of lunch and afternoon tea
