Pollet Group is a family owned business founded in 1969 by Mr. and Mrs. Pollet. The family Pollet started with one supermarket called Unic at Koekelare (Belgium). Later on the name changed from Unic to GB, to Carrefour. In the next 2 decades the group expanded with several supermarkets and a franchising of Hubo & Gamma stores, wholesales of building material to end customers.

In the early nineties Pollet Group sold the Gamma stores and invested in the market of water treatment with the acquisition of Euraqua Europe. In the last 20 years Pollet Group quickly expanded in this

important sector of water. This branch, called Pollet Water Group, now has more than 20 specialized water treatment companies.

Following the expansion in water treatment, Pollet Water Group started to supply components to the swimming pool industry through its existing network of companies. As the demands from the market started to grow, it was decided in 2004 to create the Pollet Pool Group (in short PPG). PPG consists of 10 companies and 1 manufacturer in the most important European countries with a central Warehouse of 18.000 m2.

Next to the strategic and continuous expansion in these 3 main business units, Pollet Group also invested the past years in other or complementary business such as Robby Inox, Laugil in France,… Pollet Group is located in Koekelare together with Boekan, the legal heart of the group. With a team of over 20 experts, Boekan supports all the Pollet Group companies in topics related to accountancy, human resources, legal affairs, taxes, finances and other services.
