B. B. Dudley the holder of the above notes to forclose said deed of trust, I will on flonday, April 5th 1915, in front of the court house door, in Port Gibson, Claiborne county, Mississippi, offer for sale, within legal hours, and sell at public out- cry to the highest and best bidder, for cash, the following described property, towit : 120 acres off north end of lots m 18-4 Governor Earl Brewer: We, the undersigned citizens of Claiborne County, respectfully pe- tition Yonr Excellency to grant a pardon to Watt House, who was cpnvicted of manslaughter at the June term, 1914, of the circuit court of this county; and we base our petition on the following grounds, to-wit: The said Watt House plead guilty to the charge laid against him and was sen- tenced to three years' imprison- ment, of which he has now served about nine months. The provo- cation for the killing was very great, the deceased having cursed, abused, insulted and assaulted Houses wife; and, at the moment of the shooting, the deceased was apparently designing to inflict great bodily harm upon House. Governor Earl Brewer:We, the undersigned citizens of

Claiborne County, respectfully pe­tition Yonr Excellency to grant a pardon to Watt House, who was cpnvicted of manslaughter at the June term, 1914, of the circuit court of this county; and we base our petition on the following grounds, to-wit: The said Watt House plead guilty to the charge laid against him and was sen­tenced to three years' imprison­ment, of which he has now served about nine months. The provo­cation for the killing was very great, the deceased having cursed, abused, insulted and assaulted House’s wife; and, at the moment of the shooting, the deceased was apparently designing to inflict great bodily harm upon House.

We believe that House has been sufficiently punished.
