  • 2. What is Pokmon?
    The series ofvideo gamesprimarily forNintendohandheld game systems, as well as the overarching franchise based on these games.
    Though many things differ depending on a specificcanon's interpretation of the series, what remains constant is the focus on creatures known asPokmon, which can be captured, trained, and used to compete against one another inbattleor, more recently, other activities.
  • 3. What is Pokmon?
    The Pokmon franchise was not only limited to video games. It also included trading card games, figurines, shows, and anime.
  • 4. The Pokemon Video Games
    Pokmon was first sought after for its video games, especially the handheld ones.
    The games enable players to embark on their own Pokmon adventure, capture and collect Pokmon, fight trainers, collect the 8 badges from their region, and fight the Elite 4, the regions greatest trainers.
  • 5. The Pokemon Video Games
    Players are also allowed to battle real-life players through link cable (Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advanced) and through wi-ficonnection and DS wireless connection (Nintendo DS).
    As of Generation IV, only Generation II games and its remakes (Gold, Silver, Crystal, HeartGold, SoulSilver) enabled users to go to another region other than the one assigned in that Generation.
