The 415cm / 13’7’’ Mercury Solo breaks apart into three manageable sections, each weighing less than 11kg/ 24,3 lbs. The 100cm/39’’ nose section fit’s snugly into the mid-sections’ cockpit making for easy storage for example in the trunk of your car. With an additional mid-section your Mercury Solo is transformed into a 545cm / 17’10’’ high-performance, expedition tandem. Partly for their looks. We have yet to find a better-looking 335cm/11´ kayak. They also love the XO-series’ performance – the XO11 is probably the best-performing boat in its class on the market today. The XO11 and the XO13 (next page) are the first PE versions in the XO series.

The XO11 is available in 5 different versions. The XO11 GT (Grand Tourer) equipped with skeg, footbraces, and storage compartments, both front and aft for storage and added safety. An optional, liftable rudder is avail-able with Easy-to-adjust rudder pedals. Rough waters – fun paddlingWhen we launched the Whisky 16 we knew we had a slam dunk. It was designed by Nigel Foster, after all, to be everything he looked for in a kayak. But the demand still took us by surprise. All our customers had to do was try it – and they were hooked. Even an absolute novice feels like Nigel Foster in the cockpit of a Whisky 16. On gentle waters the boat is comfortable, stable, and easily maneuvered – an ideal boat to develop skills.

For the experienced paddler it is the ultimate playboat. With its fuller bow and stern shape to reduce plunging, the Whisky 16 is designed to make the most of rough water, surf, and currents. It is perfect for day trips but spacious enough for a few days of self-contained expedition paddling. It is available in vacuum-bagged fiberglass. The Whisky 16 has two large oval aft and bow hatches, a large round day hatch behind the cockpit for access to items while on the water, and the Whisky hatch, a smaller round hatch in front of the cockpit that opens to an under-deck compartment.

It takes two to tandemWhen feedback on the DoubleShot started trickling back to us from retailers around the world we knew that we had created a new successful concept in tandem paddling. Nigel Foster developed the DoubleShot to go anywhere the singles go!

This is a lively two-seater with some similarities to the single Whisky 18. Although fitted with rudder as standard, the shallow-arch/hard chine hull configuration permits accurate edged-turning for coordinated paddling teams. The large retractable skeg is also standard and makes for great tracking. This combination makes close coastal exploration as well as difficult crossings easy and fun. Nimble for a double, and comfortably stable, the DoubleShot has sufficient storage capacity for day trips and short multi-day expeditions, and offers exciting play opportunities for adventurous couples.

The DoubleShot is available in vacuum-bagged fiberglass. Storage is in five sealed compartments with large oval hatches to access the fore and aft cargo spaces, a single round hatch into the central compartment between the two paddlers, a round day-hatch behind the rear seat, and a small Whisky hatch that opens to an under-deck compartment in front of the forward seat.
