POINT PARK UNIVERSITY’S DYNAMIC NEW SPACESCENTER FOR MEDIA INNOVATION: This exciting new facility at the corner of Wood Street and
Third Avenue opened fall 2016. With floor-to-ceiling glass
walls, digital ticker, multimedia newsroom, and broadcast
and photo studios, this is an ideal space for students to
collaborate, gain hands-on experience and learn from
industry leaders.
PITTSBURGH PLAYHOUSE: The new Pittsburgh Playhouse, set to open in 2018
on Forbes Avenue, will be a state-of-the-art learning and
performance center. It will include three theaters, a large
scene shop, sound stage, prop shop, costume shop and
café, and provide opportunities for students across majors
and for the community.
