Spring is … By Maeve R. Warm and sunny Playing outside with my friends Riding bikes in the neighborhood Looking for and picking up worms Hearing birds tweeting in the yard Seeing a lot of people taking walks, sometimes with dogs Smelling the dirty ground Playing in the sprinkler on a hot, hot day Watching my brother play baseball games Swinging on the swing set at my house I love spring because I feel happy in my heart!

HENRY AND RAMONA

By Libby and Caity B. Henry is good at his lines

Exciting show

Never be nervous on stage

Ramona squirts Henry and Bezzus in the face with a squirt gun

Yippy! The first show is today

Amber makes us be quiet

“Newspaper boys’ll give you good reads”

Dog steals papers in the show

Ramona is very funny

Ashley is great! She is a workshop leader

Murff is good at his lines

Opening night is tonight

Nathan plays Murff

Awesome show!

If I were in charge of the world

By Jack

If I were in charge of the world I’d cancel vegetables, prices in stores so everything is free, and death.

If I were in charge of the world there’d be super

heroes, it would rain money, and I’d be able to go to bed at 12:00 midnight.

If I were in charge of the world you wouldn’t have taxes or bills to pay, you wouldn’t be in trouble if you were bad, and you wouldn’t have annoying brothers and

sisters.

If I would be in charge of the world there would be no wars and I would still be in charge of the world.

Mint Chocolate Chip

Ice Cream

By Isabela

Happiness fills my heart

when I eat it

Smells like mint

Light green, gooey ice cream

with brown chocolate chunks

Cold and drippy on a hot

summer day

Gets sticky when it dries on

my hands

Cools me down but makes me shiver

Yummy! It’s my favorite!

Balls By Jamie

Fuzzy greenish tennis ball to hit

Hard and bouncy white lacrosse ball to catch

Black and white soccer ball to kick and score

Sometimes you can hear the wind blow next to your head

I see the shiny new baseball ready to be hit

There are lots of balls in the world

PLACENTINO By: Dakshata

Play outside on our great playgrounds

Lend a helping hand

An awesome place to be

Create something old into something new

Encouraging others

Nice friends

The teachers are so smart

I never want to have a day off

Nice Principals

One of the best places to be!

The Stapler

By Mrs. Garvin’s class

Shiny, black and sleek

Sharp pointy staples

Connect things together

Springy arm gets pulled back and a long row of silver skinny staples gets put in

Slide the crisp white paper in and push it down

Two sharp teeth grab it

Fun but dangerous

If I was in Charge of the World By: Aidan

If I was in charge of the world, I’d cancel death, school and bedtime.

If I was in charge of the world there’d be raining money, dinosaurs and compost everywhere!

If I was in charge of the world, you wouldn’t have to go to College, go to the bathroom, and you wouldn’t

have a brother or a sister.

If I was in charge of the world, there would be PEACE everywhere!

Ice Cream

By Luke

Drippy, cold ice cream on a hot, hot

day,

It makes me shiver it is so tasty.

My favorite ice cream is Cherry Dip

Once I have one ice cream,

I want more and more and more.

When my dad has ice cream, he wants more

like me.

DADDY By Alexandra Collier Clarke

My daddy is very funny,

Has black hair with a touch of gray,

Irish accent,

He likes to snuggle on the couch,

Gives kisses in bed,

Hard worker,

Generous,

Nothing I don’t like about Mick.
