“Speak in Truth and theworld will Listen”

Capable of delving deep down intothe caverns of wisdom and extractingreality; lethal with words and thetruth;The Female - bold and articulateThe Male - fierce and indestructible

The Poet is not lost and remains oneof the few who can find the way;The Poet does not share a humanweakness of blindness but gains aburst of insight from the Divine;Rarely understood, this creaturewalks lonely paths undetected, quietlydeciphering hidden codes of humanbehaviour and emotions

The Poet has a light diet and does notdigest lies and general foolishness verywell;General population should bewarewhen a Poet is around because thePoet will not back down when thetruth is on the line;With a frank and outspoken heart, thePoet will reveal what has beencloaked;

Chosen to stand apart, the Poet is aRevelator,A literary Scientist, a Unique Speci-men indeed…

Imprisoned-

That is how I felt

Every time that I kissed him..

Bound by promises

And imagination,

I walked around

Knowing that one day

My soul would have

Its proper compensation-

For every heartache

That I sustained,

For every moment

That I chose

Not to complain..

But,

Here I am-

Reviewing every reason

Why I should not

Return your phone call;

Anticipated forevers

Can sometimes end

After all-

After all of the tries,

After all ofretractedgoodbyes..

Imprisoned-

That ishow I felt

Everytime Isurrendered

To yourembrace

And that is a life

Of nightmares

That no fairy tale

Can ever replace

It is a maze ofmisunderstandings

That I feel I willnever escape..

But still,

I cling to you-

My heart sings foryou;

Your love is theonly tune I know-

Though I battleemotions,

I am sure it shows..

“I have beenswimming seas tomeet your needs,but still it rains”

After all that youhave done,

How can I stillthink of you

As The One?

After all the tears

That our love haswrung,

How can I lookinto your eyes

And still see theSun?

I have beenrunning

That extra mile

Just to see yousmile-

Surely,

Kentrell Blanche, Author of “A Glimpse Through My Window”.

It can't all be invain;

I have beenswimming seas

Just to meetyour needs-

But still,

It rains..

How can younot love me?

How can younot yearn

To touch me?

I have foughttime and space

Every day is a journey, Every heartache is a lesson learned...Donot be ashamed of the scars you have earned.

But still,

You place the worldbefore me..

And that is adisappointment

That words just can'tdescribe;

Poetry hardly defines

Just what I feelinside..

It is a death

That even a lost soul

Would not have toface;

The truth of thematter

Is that I will neverleave;

A life without you

Is simply a world

That I cannotconceive..

Even after all thethings

That have gonewrong,

I am still standingstrong-

For you

We stand in the Light so others will know the way out of Darkness. Light was first presented to thisworld through the use of Word and we follow in the Great Footsteps of the One who came Before.Speak in Truth and the world will Listen. - Poet Speak Editorial Dept -
