Two-Lane ， Max Driving Speed 60km/h

This project was on the altitude over 3000 meters, with the feature of high altitude, low air pressure, low temperature and large temperature difference between day and night, minimum temperature reached -6 in the spring construction, ℃The groundwater is developed in the tunnel.

Tunnel-Youth Olympic Axis Underground Construction Project is one of the auxiliary projects for 2014 Youth Olympic Game, consisted of Meizizhou Under-River Tunnel, Youth Olympic Axis Underground Transportation System and Youth Olympic Axis Plaza Underground Space three parts.

3 PROJECT APPLICATION This project’s core

control area is B2-J1 part ， consisted of Meizizhou Tunnel, Bingzhou Road, Interchange Ramps and underground space, it is a partial underground three layers framing structure, cut and covering method adopted, A grade waterproofing requirement.

3.5 Shenzhen East-West Dapeng and Diefu offshore LNG Terminal connects the harbor trestle and the receiving station tank field, total length 584m, max depth of the tunnel 43m

This is the first LNG terminal in China and the third in the world, related documents and construction experiences for reference are very limited.

3 PROJECT APPLICATION There are total 10 pipes

crossing through the tunnel portal endwall,1 LNG Receiving Pipe,1 BOG Recirculatory Pipe,1 LNG Circulating Pipe,1 VENT Pipe,1 Fire Water Supply Pipe and 5 Utility Pipes, protected by filling nitrogen, with high level requirements on waterproofing and gas tightness.(Special Grade of waterproofing) LNG Terminal Sectional View and Tubes Arrangement Diagram



The ground water under the tunnel is fissure bedrock water that mainly lays in medium-grained granites and vein rocks, spreading over the fissuring in the strong and medium weathered layer. Atmospheric precipitation supplies the ground water. Depth of the ground water is 1.20 to 18.30 meters during the geological exploration.



• Two Geotextile-Two Membranes waterproofing method:

• Geotextile waterproofing layer(400g Geotextile) + Composite Waterproofing Sheet(1.5mm thick EVA waterproofing sheet+100g geotextile) + Acrylic Spray Membrane(4mm thick), the original steel plate waterproofing design cancelled because steel plate needs welding(no fire is allowed in the construction),rough handling on the welding, heavy weight, high costs, long operation period time. Adopting PMC-S saved 303 million US dollars and one year construction period time.
