enhance the efficienc$ of the electricit$ distri%ution" &n this journal # the method of 

roject management used is the '(A ) data en!eloment anal$sis *" '(A is a non+

arametric anal$sis method introduced %$ ,harnes# ,ooer and -hodes which

measure the relati!e roducti!e efficienc$ of a set of homogenous entities referred as a

decision ma.ing unit" &n this roject# the Portuguese coman$ used a '(A model to

anal$/e how the remote control rojects allow reducing the time of the medium !oltage

networ. relacement in the e!ent of a %rea.down and the time sent in the scheduled

maintenance# and increase safet$ and oerational resource sa!ings" he model of '(A

was done %$ using a Ma'(A software and the inut and outut of the model were

stated" he inuts of the model were the in!ested caital and the time for the

distri%ution" he model was let to simulate and the result calculated the efficienc$ of the

desired inuts" rom the results# the coman$ can choose the %est in!ested caital and

time to %e used in order to increases the efficienc$ of the electrical distri%ution" his alsodecreases the ratio of loss for the coman$" he simulation was run se!eral time and

the results !aries each rocess" hen the coman$ ran.s the efficienc$ %ased on their 

desired efficienc$ imro!ement" Based on the model# the coman$ can ro!ide secific

result on how the coman$ can imro!e its roject efficienc$" As a conclusion# the

method of roject management used %$ the coman$ is decision ma.ing" he coman$

creates a model of its roject and used se!eral inuts and oututs to simulate the

efficienc$ of its roject" B$ doing that# the coman$ ma$ enhance the efficienc$ of their 

electricit$ distri%ution"
